They look good though, get that car painted and you'll be all set :) Jon |
Jon, if I remember correctly, they are 13 inch wheels...
|
they are 13 inch wheels, i have a set of them, there is no name on the rim but the caps i have say simmons on them
|
Car looks good, I prefer my FB's with a spoiler out back, but the kit looks good on there, two tone white and black always looks good (yes I'm a bit biased lol)
|
i think that with the body kit..it would be nice to have a spoiler...but i like the color scheme
|
they look like reikens i have a set on my car. Mine are 15x7

the rims are enkies 13", and i do have a spoilerm its a one piece wrap around, but it needs some finishing work, i dont have any idea how to mount it, and im not even sure if i want to.... thanks for all the kind words..... and for the record, the thing is a blast to drive now with the new suspension, like 10x more fun than before. here is a before shot to show what ive done with it since i bought it in '06 http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...2/P1000609.jpg |
2cute has a paint job like that except she rockin gold with black. I was thinking about doing red with black once i start messing with my body.
|
looks good. It was fun watching you race in GR at the furrin group event.

to be completely honest your car was one of the ones that inspired me to paint it this way.

Yea I have a 1pc spoiler I picked up a year ago that I want to put on mine to replace the "it sort of fits" FC spoiler but haven't gotton around to it either... I bet its a blast, new suspension always feels great on these cars. Keep it up, it looks way better than where it started ;) |
It does look good. I think if you paint the car black underneath the trim to match up it would look great. What is on your right headlight? And BTW, your right rear sidemarker is out LOL
|
its a bees nest, its been there since my car sat when right after i toasted my clutch and bent my axle in the same day....truth be told, the axle was bent when i bought it, but it got worse at my first autocross

to the OP what kind of paint did you use. now that i look a bit closer it looks gloss. also what kind ofprep work did you do to the body pieces. it seems from the pic there are a lot of waves in your sides this is mine http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e7...kit/kitall.jpg i also took it a step further and candied the corner markers and fog lights |
i just used rustoleum spray paint, it is supposed to be gloss, buts its on there so thin that there isnt enough to reflect the light. when i get my shit together and have more time ill finish it off. i used an orbital sander with 120 grit paper. i know i need to go alot higher if i want it to look good, but for the time being it will do. i can see swirrels all over from the sanding, like on the hard lines were its hard to get a sander, places that need to be hand sanded. but for less than 12 hours work inclusive, im not complaining
|
im just curious why wouldnt you just wait till you had the time and ability to paint it properly?
now those need to be skimmed before proper painting. you just made a lot more work for yourself.... i guess to each their own though... as for 120 grit.........lol thats what i STARTED with to pull the paint off from the previous owner of the rear and sides...........i ended up with like 800 or 1000 i cant remember for sure........and while i will say this kit is well built and in good shape new there is still stuff wrong with the mold.....so where was a lot of prep work required.....which obviously you neglected...... |
well it looks better here than sitting in my garage. this is no show car, intend to drive it, and i dont want to wince every time i hit a cone at an autocross....
seriously, your rims cost more than my entire car. |
