I know these cars have been over done with sales and vendors but I run a small machine/welding perforance shop and im willing to offer my services to this website and to all of you if you need something built that hasnt been done before or maybe your looking for an alternative.
I currently supply panhard bars to a crx/civic website, as well as short shifters for wrx and crx websites.
If you can think of anything, i would love to hear from you guys.

Get one of the $30 Miata short shifters from E-bay. Put your favorite Miata shift **** on it and it will work fine with your FB. I have used the E-bay Miata shifters on two of my different FBs and they work great. Dropping big bucks on a short shifter is a waste of money IMO. They aren't that complex.

glazed the tail lights are gorgeous, and the bumpers don't droop from the heat out here lol
t_g now you have me second guessing making a set of fiberglass bumpers lol
my god while I appreciate the nostagic elements rowing the boat (shifting through the gears) does leave something to be desired

Ya you got it bud.
I actually currently own a sa with a shitty carb on it, i dont drive it but its deffinetly a car i would like to use as a experiment car.
Short shifters, being my specialty, would probably be the first thing i would build. My most expensive shifter that i build is 150 dollars, which includes a ball bearing lower end and fully adjustable throw. (honda)
If theres any more interest in short shifters please do say so.

You FB guys with your VIN Decoders and taking up the last chapter of the Haynes Manual for corrections, since they screwed up the FB from the higher quality SA.
Chedda_j I see you're in Canada, is there a way for Americans to get these items without the additional tax cost in shipping?

I am actually looking for someone to build me some chrome round bumpers like the first gen corvettes have. I am removing my stockers moulding in where it was (minus a mounting point) and using them to accent it. gonna look good. At least in my mind it does so far.

Buy a small file or some sandpaper. You can fix the bushing easily in your apartment over the trash can without making a mess. I don't think you need to grind down the metal spacer unless you have a 1983 style transmission. I believe it will be a straightforward swap fro all the other transmissions.

its 81-83 that the lower bushing is maching in. on 84/85s you can reach in and pull it out. then the miata spacer will fit fine. you only have to sand down the bushing that goes on the end of the shifter. which is already plastic. just some rough sandpaper
