Charging AC in 84 FB
Tried to use one of these on the low side AC port.
Quick connect didn't fit. Shot product evnesting? where.
Any suggestions? I thought the connectors where universal, no?

That product won't work. The all first gen rx-7s used R12. You will either need R12 or to swap all the out to R134. This will require the system to be evacuated and recharged with R134. The swap also requires new fittings for the R134.
Why are you worrying about the AC? Don't both of your RX-7 have engine issues?

You should convert to R152a. Read this for an excellent, deep dive.

Edit: I linked to one specific post that is pretty comprehensive, but you'll want to read the whole thread.

Was waiting for some one to lob that grenade into the room..
Tried both ports. Connector didn't fit either.
Yep, sprayed produced. Now I've learned, wrong stuff.
