Came home and found this
In the driveway.
Out of 6 cars, this is the only non-Mazda.
Even though it is a Toyota, atleast it's not a camry. I wish Mazda made something offroady, they can keep it motorsports worthy by racing in the Dakar rally or something

I work at a Toyota dealership and I have to say that those FJs grow on you a bit...
They are pretty hardy off road and kinda good for toting crap around, the V6 is bullet-proof practically and its pretty spunky...
But yeah, it's an acquired taste...

Stu, don't knock the Camrys before you've driven a good one. i have a 92 Camry SE with a 185hp V6 and a 5 speed trans. its an awesome smooth ride and performance is excellent. its an awesome car and i really enjoy driving it. its really loaded and while handling isn't 7 like, its still pretty fun to drive: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KD1wXCqaLTs

Those FJ's are cool.... Mazda needs to get off their asses and build a truck and cool "non minivan" based manly SUV's.... Make them by someone like say..... Mazda and not FORD

thats what im saying although it not off roady its still nice and its got room to tote **** around town. Even the bigger Cx9 is sweet , its got plenty of power ride super smooth. the 3rd row even folds down for extra room in the back! i got one and i love it. maybe you should rethink you options!

CX-7 and 9 are all Soccermom status mobiles.... The FJ is tough looking, rugged, 4wd and cool... CX-7, 9 are not rugged looking, and are not cool.....uh unless you are a mommy...

Lol ok guys, the car isn't mine!
I mean unless I mistook the grille for saying MAZDA
It is my mom's car. She had a base 07 RAV4, it was nice and all but it had its quirks (the chimer would DING DING DING if you had ANYTHING in the passenger front seat and it wasn't buckled up, gas pedal has a 2 second lag before going). We tried to get her to buy a mazda. We looked at a stormy blue mica CX9 and got the guy down to 27 for it. Mom was thinking about it for a few days (she really liked it, but hated the minivan look to it) and took the RAV in to get a squeek fixed. Came back with this.
It isn't too bad of a car. I hear little things about it after reading up on it like the paint is thin and pretty much any mod is like $1000+. But hey, it came with a lifetime warranty!
On another note, I did go car shopping with a friend of mine. We ended up at the Infinity dealership and bought the car there. I think he is picking it up today. Guess what it is?
Black on black Mazda RX8 GT I think it all balanced out in the end.

I've got my GS, and a '98 328i for when I'm feeling lazy. But I always buy Toyotas for the wife.
Biggest reason for that is the fact that I never, ever, have to work on them.
Just change the oil once in a while and check the tire pressure. That's it.
She had a 4 Runner before, and now she's got a supercharged Previa minivan
for hauling the kids around. No issues at all. You've got to like that!
