84 GSL Steering Issue

84 GSL Steering Issue
84 GSL w/ power steering and 98k miles.
Just picked up this Rx-7 and while driving, it has an odd issue. The steering won't correct. If I turn the wheel slightly while driving, the wheel won't go back to straight on it's own. If I'm making a sharp turn onto another road, I have to turn the steering wheel to straighten it out, instead of it straightening out on it's own. Typically you can let go of the wheel and your vehicle will go back to straight.
Anyone know what could be causing this?
Thanks,
-Jason

you should look under the car for anything worn/loose/stuck, however the steering on these cars doesn't self center like a new car, if you take it to the track you get used to straightening it out yourself

Greased the front end and had an alignment done which did help a bit.
What corrected the issue was changing the rotation of the tires. Noticed while working on it that it had directional tires which were rotating the wrong direction. Maybe previous owner rotated the tires and didn't realize they were directional?
Anyway, just wanted to follow-up and post how this one was resolved.
Thank you,
