1984 FB rx7 starting problems won’t crank
ok so I got up to go to school and I went and started my car it took a few tries because it was 34 degrees but it started and ran I let it sit to warm up I went inside to grab my coffee and my brother so we could go to school and when I came outside it was dead but I could turn the lights on and off but when I turned the key there was nothing anybody know anything that could be the problem

Do you have a FSM or some other type of shop manual?

Look on the driver's side strut tower, you should see a little brown box with 3 wires (covered in a material) sticking out of it. It should have MAIN, HEADLAMP and RETRACTOR (or something close to those words) listed - one at each wire - and a number listed. Maybe the writing has faded over the years, so if you find the brown box that's good enough. Those are your fusible links. The problem you would then face is figuring out which is which because I don't remember. Remove the main one and check if it's broken (inside the material).

Actually, scratch that ... that photo shows the FLF fuses in there already. The fusible links themselves are the wires I was describing earlier. You will want to convert yours like the ones in the photos by using fuses. However, the brown box is shown clearly.

Ummm,... you're going to replace the others with either Fusible Links in plastic boxes or new Fusible Link wires, right? That other stuff's kinda important, too. Glad you got it running,
