Dyno & Tuning Day! December 2nd 2006 - Bay Area

Address:
McGuinness Mechanics
3135 Kerner Blvd
San Rafael, CA 94901

Map: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...m=1&iwloc=addr

Price:
$65 for 3 pulls.
You of course don't have to Dyno your car. You can just come hang out, its just an option.

Optional: Tuning services
We will have a tuner on hand. So if you need your car tuned by one of the best then PM Boostedrex with the details of your car (Which EMS, applicable mods, any known problems, etc...) and he'll get a price for you. Chris Greene from Wolf USA is the tuner. It's looking to be $150-$200 per car to tune. He has experience with the Power FC, Haltech, Microtech, MoTec, Electromotive, and of course the Wolf 3d.

Time:
Saturday December 2nd, 2006.
10AM on!

Food:
BBQ, If people can bring some items that would be great... Soda, Snacks. We normally have a sign up for who might be bringing food of some sort. Otherwise there is a great place to eat across the street that is usually open. Or various fast food places down the road a bit.

A nice sign up list would be nice so we could get an idea of how many people are going to be showing. This usually goes without saying but I figure it is worth typing up just in case.

Thanks,
-Brian

I kinda want to nab that ASP large from you before the meet Brian, and install that along with my twin power before the dyno day to see if they make a difference. I don't think my peak numbers will change any more than 10-15whp, but if I could smooth out my curve above 6k (which is where you can see the ignition start to break up), that would be worth it for me.

I talked to Chris Greene last night and he is pumped about doing some tuning at the meet. I have already talked to Rotoober about his car, does anyone else need Chris to dial your car in for you? If so then speak up so I can get the list together. He also said that the more people that need tuning then the lower the per car price will be!!

Hi All,
I have received a couple of PM's with people asking if there's a limit to how many cars can show up. Since they saw the list of 1-10. We're only making this roll call list to get an idea of how many people are showing up. This helps when picking up some food and drink to have out. There is NO limit to how many people show up.

Dyno time is going to be the people who just want pull's first. Any time left after that can be done for tuning. If people want to tune later into the evening then I can stay, or even do pulls in the evening its fine.

I can't of course guarantee everyone will get a chance if we have some crazy huge turnout, so it will be really first come first served. I will have a little sign up sheet to keep some kind of order of things.

Another option for the tunings I can show up as early as people would like as well to open the place up. 6,7,8am.

Sure, other cars are welcome. I don't really care... I was thinking about giving money back to whomever has the highest whp. I'll ask, what are you thinking of bringing? Just curious really.

The dyno is a Land and Sea chassis dyno. More info on it can be found here..
