I agree, there's a lot of **** talking that goes on about "hi I have 500hp" then when it finally gets thrown on a Dyno they suddenly get quiet haha.

I have been happy with general stock power so I only have 250~ in the FD and less in the FC.

And you'd be suprised by how low of dyno numbers some people put down, so you might not be the lowest hp

See you guys on saturday.

Yeah, I notice there are people claiming #'s. Im dead serious though...nothing special on my ride, though I do track it. Plenty of power for Road Racing for now.

Heres an idea of what I do got:

Intake
Full Exhaust (Racing Beat w/ 3" Downpipe and Presilencer)
Dual Alt. Pulley
12.5 lb Flywheel
S4 Tranny in an S5 (old tranny synchros went bad)
HKS Fcon (I have a FEED Chipped one and a Stock HKS one - stock HKS is currently in the car - not sure if the FEED one will do any better or not)
HKS GCC
LC-1 Wideband w/ XD16 Gauge

The rest is pretty much suspension and brakes. I didnt spare on the suspension since I do road race the car. Speed is second for me...handles is first.

I really want to go out there. I do want to see some setups to get ideas. Is anyone heading up early? Im on a tight schedule and need to be in and out. I definately want to check out some rides though.

unfortunately the sac guys really didn't have much for rotary shops for a while, i'm still trying to get things caught up and some better numbers for folks but it's rough with the import crackdowns as it seems to have scared alot of people off about modding their cars so mostly i do stock cars with porting mods.

i think out of all of us in this area only a small handful are over 300RWHP and i can only guess for my own car. i'm hoping to hit the 400 mark but i'm betting it will probably be in the lower 300's with my dinky turbo and ghetto setup.

i wonder if Dan will let me borrow his T68 for a day, hmmm, lol. j/k.

My FC and FD are virtually stock. I have been on the fence for a long time on modding them... Im one of them scared folk. The law enforcement in my area... two of them used to have FD's and one wish he had one... (as they tell me.) Maybe I should move out oft the area... a little more near Nader haha.

To answer your question about people coming early. I haven't had any pm's about it really so I would venture to say not really. I'll be that at 8am, maybe earlier...

Address:
McGuinness Mechanics
3135 Kerner Blvd
San Rafael, CA 94901

Map: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=...om=1&iwloc=addr

Price:
$65 for 3 pulls.
You of course don't have to Dyno your car. You can just come hang out, its just an option.

Optional: Tuning services
We will have a tuner on hand. So if you need your car tuned by one of the best then PM Boostedrex with the details of your car (Which EMS, applicable mods, any known problems, etc...) and he'll get a price for you. Chris Greene from Wolf USA is the tuner. It's looking to be $150-$200 per car to tune. He has experience with the Power FC, Haltech, Microtech, MoTec, Electromotive, and of course the Wolf 3d.

Time:
Saturday December 2nd, 2006.
10AM on!
Another option for the tunings I can show up as early as people would like as well to open the place up. 6,7,8am.

--------------------------------------------
Remember to only add your name to the list if you are 100% coming. You don't have to dyno, but we still need a good head count of how many people will be there.

Ahh alright, well then 7 should be a good time for me to show.

If anyone gets lost you can give me a call at:

415-378-5398

Ill try and throw my FD on the street before where you guys need to turn in, making it a little easier to spot. Its not too bad though.

I took a quick pic to show anyone what to look for who hasn't left yet.

From the street look for my skittle it will be setup as such unless it turns out to be in the way.

If anyones still wondering not sure if they want to show up today, don't worry about 'just showing up' you didn't have to sign up to be here it was just as Zach said to get a head count for some food snacks. You are more then welcome to just show up some time today if you find yourself in the area.

As late as people decide to stay really. I would say 6pm or so would be a good guess. By then it will be dark... Maybe we will be doing some tunings at that time, depending on how many people want pulls...

I'll update the thread with a better time frame once I have a good idea how many people want pulls and how many people show.

Sorry that we didn't make it guys. The guys from Sac MMA Academy came over to our gym last night for some sparring. It went really well for us. I felt sorry for those guys though. Everyone they brought either got knocked out or injured. I didn't get a chance to fight because they didn't bring anyone with the same experience level as me, however I did train for quite a while before the fights started. But when I woke up this morning I was WAY too sore to sit in the car for 4 hours. So we took it easy around the house today and I did some light work on the PA.

You pansies!! We had like 3 Rx7s on the dyno...the rest were: Porsche 944 Turbo, S14 240 w/ SR, 300zx TT, Chevelle, and a 280Z...3 FC at an Rx7 meet. What a sad world...I couldn't dyno my car though since I have no intercooler piping I still went though you *******!!!
EDIT: An MKIV was too scared to dyno his "500rwhp" car..

So when I was leaving, Josh was leaving in his supra, and there was a ferrari at the stop light that he came up right behind at a red.
So I rolled down the window and say "Ferrari, more than you can afford pal".
Followed them for a while, the ferrari didn't take the bait.

The ferrari was actually a 456 convertible, and the only 456's i know of that are convertible are the handful that were custom pinninfarina cars made for the sultan of brunei.

A convertible version called the Ferrari 456 GT Spyder also exists. Two of these convertibles were built by Pininfarina especially for the Sultan of Brunei. One of these is road tested in Forza Magazine issue 33. There are also two aftermarket conversions made by the R. Straman Company of Costa Mesa, California. Boxer Mike Tyson bought one such convertible. One of these cars is Blue with Tan Interior (100890).

guess it wasnt a sultan car, but it was red.
