would you like a wamburger with some of those french cries? wtf i guess every ones 7 is down right now since there were only 4 or 5 rx-7's there and like 300 nissans... tisk tisk tisk nor-cal! you were suppose to bring our shirts too zack!!!!!!!!!

anyways thanks brian and brian's uncle for having us!

EDIT: An MKIV was too scared to dyno his "500rwhp" car..

not scared, he just didnt wanna do another 4th gear burnout on a dyno, have another dyno day and I'll make sure he does it, plus I gotta baseline the T2 once I buy it.

Does anyone else have a sunburn? Or did I get some kind of chemical burn on my ******* face? Supra boy seemed fine to me..he didn't sound too stuck up or anything.

Yeah yeah now no need for the **** talking. My FD was there too. It was just being used to point directions haha. I said it before... I love rotarys but I respect other Japanese sports cars quite a bit too.

It was fun, I would love to see the Supra do a couple pulls. It sure looked pretty, I didn't get a chance to talk to the owner. I would have liked to know a little more about the car from what everyone was saying it looked nice and quick.

Hopefully the headache goes away by morning, I think I had a couple too many fumes today.

Alright now I am going to throw my head into a pillow and pass out haha.

Lets do it again sometime of course...

Well, here are my results. I have to say I am a bit dissapointed in the results I was hoping for 300+, but it was a fun day anyhow as I got to meet a bunch... strike that... a few forum members ... I will have to put the boost controller in,...crank it up to 14-15psi and try again . I would really like 350 RWHP

13BRE stock port
62-1@10psi
720/1680's
3" out the back
Haltech E6X
pump fuel

I wouldn't be to dissapointed those #'s aren't bad on stock ports at only 10 PSI, you'll break 300hp once you hook up the boost cont.

Nice even AFR's also.

he just seemed bent that his car wouldn't hook up on the dyno though, you felt the rollers, they almost cut the tire to grip so i doubt he would be doing any burnouts on the dyno.

my numbers were a bit disappointing too but there's a bit of room for improvement. at 10psi i made near the same HP level as i did at 18psi and i didn't get time to focus on the efficiency range of the turbo which seems to be around 13-14psi, i had hoped it would push higher but i guess i was asking too much of the little thing, heh. max HP with the same corrections Bastard used on his RE it came out to be 242.0tq at 5000RPMs and 272.9HP at 6383RPMs and after looking at all the graphs i was shutting down before the power curve was peaked out so i definitely know there is still some room to grow. knowing that i only picked up a few HP over 8PSI spread i am going to focus on the lower boost levels first, i didn't even advance the timing at that point and after leaving the dyno i realized my AFRs were in fact close to 2 points off as i had to do some more tuning on the road today, apparently my wideband doesn't like to be grounded to my seat frame....

i know this turbo is capable of 300RWHP and i know it can, but i hoped it would be able to push more boost a little more efficiently, i guess that parts was just a dream though, heh.

Was it just me, but i thought there should of been another fan right in front of the car, instead of the bigger fan that is used for smogging cars?

I would think the fan could have made a little different, dyno number wise, as it would cool the hot air more better to simulate real street.

How much did Nader lay down? I had to leave as soon Ben was wrenching on his O2 sensor?

210 @8PSI, he doesn't have a boost controller so it was just pushing what the modified wastegate would creep to. i would imagine at 13PSI it would probably be in the neighborhood of 240-250WHP with some upgraded injectors since the current 550's will max at 14PSI. it might have laid down higher numbers with a 4th gear pull since it would have crept higher but we had to move since pulls were lining up.

It was a pretty nice day out in the Bay Area and it was cool seeing some familar faces and a few folks I hadn't meet before. I got there as Ben was making his last pull then watched the 300Z and 280Z pull. I'm glad Brian didn't chain down that 280 off the bumper mounts...lol

I didn't know what the turnout would be like but I think it's a safe bet to say most of us have car issues. I can't say much since the only twins I brought were the drooling kind with bottles of formula vs. NOS...hehe. I think they did alright for a bunch of future rotor heads.

Hey Nick.. I have your fender in my garage. Let me know what you want me to do with it. You can come by mine if ya want since I'm only a few miles up the road.

Haha yeah he said something about him having it done there before, but as soon as I spun the mount around with my hand I threw that idea out the window. It looked semi solid from a distance.

I apologize again for being a no show. But it was my first and only time for doing that. Sorry guys. I did get quite a bit accomplished on the 1st gen though. You should check out the thread in the 1st gen section.
