Albuquerqueians what’s the 7stock plan ?
Albuquerqueians what’s the 7stock plan ?
I was told at the BBQ that thousands upon thousands (or may be it was a few less) of 7s would be departing from Albuquerque heading to 7stock. Is there any plans in place yet? We are closing in on 2 months to go. I wouldn’t advise waiting much longer to get your hotel reservations and banquet tickets. When you all figure out what your plans are let everyone know in the Sevenstock I-10/40 caravan section.

I should know something in the next 15 days. I have asked the club members a few times about their interest and only a small handful of people have been interested... rotarygod (fred) and his crew will be there I'm sure.. but other than that...

at the end. But ya ive only had my rx7 for about 2 1/2 months now and ive never even heard of seven stock b4
lol so hopefully I'll make it out there this year. I talked to chris (the bf) last night and it sounds like a go.
It is defiantly time to start saving some $. Gas and drinks at the Hilton aren’t cheap. I would advise picking up a banquet ticket, if your going to go all that way you may as well go all the way. At the banquet we usually get to see and hear about some cool stuff. My favorite so far has been the video clip at ss5 of the 99 rx-7 (I think it was a 99) being caught by the rx-8 around some race track in Japan. The tortured sounds of all the 3gen owners was priceless.
As an added benefit to all you up in northern NM, keep in mind Irvine is a sea level. I hate driving up in Alb. because my cars always feel so weak up there (and it’s only a 1000ft elevation change). Let me tell you if you haven’t driven your 7 at sea level you are missing out. On my TII the difference between Alb. and Irvine is 48 rwhp, that’s a lot of missing fun.
Also keep in mind you don’t need a “show” car to take to 7stock, just bring what you have.
