GT35R Turbo Question

Hi people

Is 450rwhp at 15psi achievable with GT35R on street ported engine?

If not what about GT40R?

Thanx

I haven't seen any dyno sheets of any GT35R's making over 400rwhp... Maybe I'm not looking hard enough...?

The GT40R *should* get you near 450rwhp @15psi though...

Zoomzoom made 404 at ~15lbs on a reman at KD. However, they apparently wired up his crank angle sensors backwards so I believe he was running very aggressive timing (which would also explain why he lost a few motors on the dyno there). Since he put a street port motor in and fixed the crank angle sensor problem I believe the highest he has seen is 378rwhp at 15.5, but the motor was losing compression with each pull so that's not an ideal reference either.

Yes, GT35R = GT35/40

hey matt83usc, why do you say I'm not looking hard enough? Have you found a dyno of a GT35R making over 400rwhp ? If so, please post it... I'm interested

If there out there let's see them, I believe there is one, and it's on the dyno comparo site. Not exactly common.
Sorry it's been a year since I gave you all **** on this. Carl
