What to block all the extra nipples with
I am in the process of my single conversion, but all the extra nipples in the LIM/UIM what do I use to block them efficiently? Also what did you all use as gaskets for your block of plates?
Thanks so much,
Ravi

Go to autozone to the "HELP!" section. There's a bunch of different vacuum caps to choose from. Just get a couple of the sets with different sizes..
As for the LIM, there is only 1 vacuum line you will need to cap. It's the one by the front of the secondary fuel rail. Other than that, theres only the one to the FPR. The 4 on the inside and outside are the same. Just tubes that route through the LIM. No need to cap.

I would just weld the holes shut, if you run high boost, you're likely to have the plugs pop off. Same thing goes for people using block off plates, they may leak under boost.

I had to cap off quite a few nipples on the UIM since I took pretty much everything off under UIM(ACV, emission solenoids, double throttle, AWS, ISC, etc.) I just cut short pieces(~2") of vacuum hose and bridged adjacent nipples in pairs. This way, both ends of silicon hose sees the same pressure even under high boost so there is little chance of hose popping off. If you were using the "Help" rubber caps, I would recommend using silicon gasket material and zip tie so it would not pop off under boost.
