Ya man nice work!!!! Ur 7 has come a long way for sure... I dont recomend molding the kit, widebody or wing. If its you dd just fill in them gaps where the rear quarter meets the side of tail lights, then drop the candy rattle can on that.

Just use you body work skillas and make the rear quarters and wing less bulky at the edges ect... So how did you like having to reduplicate the rear quarter body lines?

Only reason i molded my kit, wide body, moldings was cuz my 7 is not a dd.
If you mold the front u gotta do the entire car or it will look funky...

^^^^^Thats the most recent plan. Just gonna fit it all well. I like having the ability to bolt stuff on and off. Not gonna rattle can it though, gonna shoot the whole car through my gun. TOOSHORT: Your car is serious as ****......and was my background for mad long. Very Very clean work.

Next job is cutting widebody to accept wing (both sides and rear, good call franco), welding bolts on wing and drilling holes in lid to accept them. Then shift gears to suspension. Tokico blues w/rb springs. Low pro tires (205 40ish) in front too. Then interior time. I will probably post daylight pictures tomorrow.

I was worried about the rear fenders but the spoiler kinda tied it together.

I'm not really a fan of your front bumper, the rest of the car is sharp and rigid but those lights are curvy and smooth.

Impressive work though.

wing looks really good on that. Molding it in would make it look so damn smooth. As for the FTPs to have gone in straight would have popped it upwards but with a recess it might have looked different.

Lol no that is not my kid in the pic. As for my kit, i am working on it now, I have all of the other parts on the car except for the one that I make (go figure). Ill have my own build thread here in about a month or so.

Looking forward to your build thread dltreezan. Even though it would look better moulded, i am gonna cut the sides so it sits in a little better, and take the "thickness" out of all the edges. Prob not the cleanest show worthy method, but daily driving limits my options. Here are some out of the garage pics i 2megapixelized today. You can really see the harsh transitions in both color and lines in some of them. It will all be fixed though.............well in a little while, gonna rock it like this for the winter (after wing mounting is complete) .

Wowza!! Hey john, its nice to know u had my 7 as ur screensaver, it took me bout 7 months to finish. Only thing i regret bout my car is i wish i wud of had your vented fenders then mold in the c.s overfenders..

Oh well theres always my vert project i just started, im going to make a entire fender with the c.s overfender allready molded in , it will be a more practical that way, if i damage fender i could just slap on a new one....

Your car can b show quality! Just take your time and make it all legit.

Jocksit......For the most part, the majority of people in my area respect the fc. There is an army of preludes over there, His, his wifes and soon to be a parts car. Good guy, different circles is all. LOL i knew somebody was gonna comment on the prelude.

Thanks man, means a lot.

7 months shows, car is a work of art. I especially like picture of
the light bouncing off of a perfectly detrimmed door. That "confirmed the official".

Good call with premolded fender. Cs overs (or fenders)will require an extensive amount of modification due to a drastic angle change. The fenders almost bulge out like an oldschool quarter pipe and drop the wheelwell down 10-12mm. Still definately workable though, and a hell of an interesting look i am sure. Time to start a thread on the vert, man.

Oh u mean this pic?

Well the original overfenders i bought from c.s were not wide enuf to accomidate my 18x10s and 18x9s.... So i made molds of the over fenders with resin and fiberglass..(beefd em up a bit) why waist $380.00) I kept the original O.F. cuz it only cost me bout 13 buks to make 2 ha.

Piece O cake... Ima atatch c.s overfender on to same fender u have, lay resin, fiberglass cloth and make my mold, once it cures i will have a CUSTOM sick *** super wide fender....

Yes the build up of my crazy wide body vert will come soon....
I just finishd triming and sanding to make the m-sports kit fit so dam clean!

Man..... John see what u have done? U got me all amped up bout the vert now...

Ima stop myself right now.. This is your thread and its about ur clean *** FC. Pics above are legit man... My fav is the 2nd pic shows an aggressive stance with your made from scratch widebody. sickness!

Do you have any plans for the hood? Feels as if it missing something...

Tooshort, hows the vert coming? Glad you are motivated.........

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I haven't done anything to the car. Busy with school and work. I have really been itching latenight.....its just way too cold and snowy to do anything. Soon though, bolts will be welded to wing, holes will be drilled in the decklid, wing will be mounted, sides and back will be traced, widebody will be cut, repainted and remounted. That way the shitlip around the wing will be minimized. Just need the time and the wooly mammoth suit. Hood will be modified just before i reshoot the car .

haha yeah i know what you mean i went down to nc to pick up a 4 lug it was 50 degrees out i was like i could do work to cars in this weather.. rather than the 16 there is in new york...

but the vert is probably going.. there's just way too much work to do to it... so much body work so much interior and a **** load of extras i gotta do.. that i just don't have the money for so i'm probably going to be running t2 everything except motor inside a 4 lug.. to make decent enough power.. on a ported na with a ported manifold and a couple of other things

Good call then.* Its all about focus and planning.* Sell the vert, and by saying "running everything t2 but the motor" i asume you will be turboing the 6 port na block.* Read aaroncakes site 13 1/2 times and contact japan2la for the t2 uim to to 6port block lower intake maniford.* Thatl make **** a lot easier. With high compression and low boost, this thing should be fairly peppy and safe.john ny

Yup......the whole kit is an ebay gp sports bootleg.....awful quality and fitment....took a few days to get it kinda right. Gel coat so thick in some areas there was no fiberglass. It would flake off. Had to build it back from the inside with resin and bondo'ed the outside. ***** is right franco..... this kits quality would give you aids. Gave it the magic johnson shot now, so its all good.
