No you're not. Not for tomorrow you're not. I need some of those Tuesday night BLTs. I'll be there.

And if you don't show up in that green FD of yours, I'll be severely disappointed. I need to get some pics of that thing for the OGTA calendar.

On the other hand, if you do make it and I don't, post some pics for me, would you Brett?

Has anybody tried to retrofit a PS rack from another car? Are these racks NLA or something or just really expensive?

I'm green light for trying the taco mack.

Good deal, see you there Brett.

Sad to see that REPU turned into a manure hauler.

That repu is awesome, but kinda defeats the purpose of a truck. I'd like to have that motor though for one of my cutlasses lol

Taco Hack is ready for us, just spoke to the manager.

They are really excited, I guess the word has leaked out that the Grand Exalted Mystic Ruler of OGTA is planning to attend tonight. Makes me giddy just thinking about it.

You really do have an affinity for plaid though, like that beautiful SA had in its interior. And if Brett comes in a green FD, does that mean I get his black one?

Old Guys with 12 Cylinders = OGTC

Terrific meeting this evening, the rain held off, it was warm and the company was great.

A little too wet for some of the fuel injected 13B's however.

Brett couldn't coax his green FD out of the driveway and didn't show.

Tommy had issues with his FE and had to use his steady and reliable backup, the Miata.

And Erica and Cam also came in a Miata, their FC's taking the evening off.

But Holly managed to get her FE to crank and Jeremy's white FD was up to the task and of course Flipper, equipped with SkyActiv technology, loves the wet weather.

But the FBs were the stars of the show.

James brought his beautiful wife Melanhie (sp??) and his one-of-a-kind custom-built turbo-boosted Nikki-fed 13B-powered red FB:

Sweet turbo FB, what a cool set up.

I took the car out for a spin before heading that way and between my bald tires, foggy windows, and 3K idle due to a vacuum leak, I came back home and parked it. Maybe that will convince Tara to let me buy a Wrangler for a second car :-)

"my bald tires, foggy windows, and 3K idle due to a vacuum leak"

And so goes life with an FD.

Do you yearn for simpler times Brett, back when you had a pristine, reliable FB in excellent condition and money in your pocket to buy tires when you needed them?

I think Erica is thinking the same thing.

I can't argue with that logic...

I did a smoke test on the FD and found where the vacuum leak was... the LIM to block gasket. I'm not looking forward to tearing it all down, but it must be done...

Puspa Ariani Pande Ketut is her name, but us southerners just call her Rya.

Foggy windows? Am I the only person who has A/C on his RX7?

Its been an interesting week since the meet, on Wednesday my company let me go, so I am not job hunting again, and on Thursday we had Ericas car taken to Danny at PR Racing so he can diagnose and figure out exactly what is going on with it so we can figure out what to do with it. Thursday night however, I also did get a pretty good offer on something off of my RX, so with the money I get, big changes are coming to the RX as it appears it it has only been built to my taste. It also seems like it will be making more sense for me to go large ported, possibly carb based NA when I do my motor swap next year, gives me more power than I already have, there's already a block built sitting in a shop, and if I start breaking things, its a LOT cheaper.
