also, #2: I honestly can't read through 45 pages to figure it out, but this is going to be a track car IIRC, so how do you plan to keep the IATs in check with no intercooler? meth? 1. splitter is ultra high density poly ethylene, the front is mounted to the core support crash beam directly with tension rods, the sides are mounted to the canards, and are braced from underneith with L brackets to the backside of the frame area behind the oil coolers. The back side has huge spacers/with m8 bolts that run through the sway bar braces.
2. water to air intercooler is integrated into the intake manifold, that why it appears as if it has no intercooler. This keeps pressure drop extraordarily low and also does not allow any of the metal post intercooler to heatsoak as there's no charge piping post intercooler
the tank in the rear of the car hold 2 gallons of water, theres a heat exchanger in the nose and two behind each seat. I see no change in IAT temp on boost, or at stop lights, when i have the pump on. Though I haven't run more than 8psi, not past 5k rpm under WOT.
The car doesn't have any specific purpose, just concepts/ideas put to work. Hopefully it can do some track time, but definitely not going to be hardcore racing it. That's for the next one

i have never been a fan of these, mostly due to added complexity (i'm an outspoked proponent of simplicity for car/project stuff) but i am genuinely curious how well it performs at full tilt. i am wondering if the complexity is worth it when VMICs matched with cold and intakes have produced very good results on run-ragged track cars on this forum.
also, disclaimer: i'm definitely not trying to be a sarcastic dick here; my interest is piqued because you're doing such a unique, large investment project.

interesting. i am very curious how well it works on the dyno from low rpm to redline at full throttle/boost, or several full throttle/boost gear runs.

Car did phenomenal. Drove 3 hrs both ways, not a single hiccup, not even a single hiccup. Averaged 13 mph, better than my 3 rotor, who would have thought !? At one point, we were stuck in stop/go traffic from construction work, sitting in 80F weather for 45mins. Coolant temps never surpassed 205f! Just so thrilled. We didn't use much throttle/boost, but intake temps never exceeded 110F with the intercooler pump engaged, even sitting fore long periods.
And to the few who kept up with the "pport is going to be awful on the street". hahaha try again
The import alliance event was fantastic. Met so many badass people. Will definitely be coming back!
Now...to see if we're crazy enough to drive it to California for SevenStock

Amazing build! A couple of my friends drove up to the show last weekend and got some pictures and videos of your car, I wish I could have been there to see it in person. I totally agree with your decision to keep the FD body lines, to me they can't be beat. Glad to see someone not cutting corners on a build and get it done so quickly.

Thank you again to everyone who has contributed and supported this build and all of the builds on this forum. Every build has its ups and downs. We all experience struggles where things don't go as expected. Budget stress, part fitment issues, timeline issues, personal mistakes, misinformation, vendor issues, etc. Anytime you push your personal limits, there will be rough patches. The build threads help us to remain motivated. To see that other's have been through the same, but manage to push through. I know there are so many cars over the past decade that help me to stay dedicated to ignore negativity. To stay focused on ideas and goals and to make decisions without fear. Threads like bewtew's 1bad20b. Chris Carlisis's 3 rotor build. David Hayes 20b swap. etc etc Car's that started out from scratch, went through the rough patches, and pushed through to successful driving vehicles, all over this forum.

Good to see everything running perfectly! Congrats! That fuel economy is actually better than stock when you consider that you have 100% more displacement and running the same gearing. Best my stock fd ever got was 26mpg hwy. All things being equal plus 2 more rotors cuts that economy in half. What A/F are you running under cruise? Not to mention, you have more drag and a heavier car and still managed that. Glad you're actually driving this thing like that. Now you need a highway gear.
Oh yea, if you actually drive it to sevenstock, we should link up along the way and meet the Arizona crew since you'll be driving on I-20. We can make some sweat 3 and 4 rotor noise on the way there.

Zach, would love to see you make SSXX in November, but if you do, I hope you trailer, not drive it. It's a long *** ride and **** happens along the way. You've got too much invested at this point. JMO. Hope to see you in November!

Definitely set on making. I will try my absolute hardest to do whatever it takes getting the car ready etc to make it. Def will trailer it but wouldn't mind taking it out for a few hrs of cruise time. It would just exceptionally be badass to all meet up in person and cruise!!!

The IA show is just awesome. Great atmosphere, no elitist attitude, All down to earth people, who love working on their cars. Its cool to be around people who share the same insanity.
