Ah so i'm wasting my time with the cable then since i don't have a cartridge
I'll try get my hands on a handcontroller instead. Its a shame the v4 handcontroller doesn't work on it. It loads the main screen up fine but when i press any of the buttons nothing happens.

Maybe a virtual Memory cartridge is the answer
