Wolf 3d V4 Wiring and CAS Question

Hey guys,

i'm finally getting around to wiring in my wolf 3d v4 to my 1989 rx7 turbo 2.

I've got almost everything for the install figured out except a few things:

The post that nyt put up here about how to setup the 3d V4 to use the stock CAS, do I just stab the CAS the way you're supposed to on an all stock car? (aka line up the dots and stab it) I sorta gotta lost due to nyt's second explanation lol in the post so i'm a little confused.

As far as wiring i was looking at the CAS wiring and it says:
Red & Green Wire -> PIN 27
White -> PIN 28
White/Black - > PIN 6

Those are the only pins named. However if you look at the diagram there's also a PIN 30 for "Input Trigger +5V" and it's part of the 4-Way Connector for the Trigger system. Is it just unused for the rotary?

What should I do special for the CAS wires to shield them? I hear a lot about interference affecting them how should I prevent this? wrap all CAS wires together with some kind of shielding? Do i only wrap the PIN 6 wire?

I have to start wiring probably this weekend to keep pace and so any help would be very much appreciated!

kevin.

yeap, then throw a timming light on it with a 5* timming map and make sure its right

also, FC main pullies are 360mm in diameter, so if you want you can measure 5mm over the leading mark and have a zero deg mark to set your timming off of

Its for a Hall optical type senor which needs +5v power, the CAS uses reluctors that don't need a power wire.
