Wolf 3D V3

I found a local seller with one of these for 250 bucks. Just wondering, if these are plug and play, is there some kind of default setting I can set it to until I get it tuned? Anything I may need to go along with it? I read somewhere about not being able to use the OMP with this? What I am basically asking is, can I hook this thing up and be alright until Steve Kan comes to town in Feb.?

Oh, and please don't tell me to go to the website, for some reason it isn't loading. Thanks for the help.

Hi mr0pistons, if you have a version 3 or 4 it will not run the OMP on a series 5/6 engine. The control of the OMP requires lots of work yet. I have a S4 and I have had a V3 and a V4 the V3 runs standard coils well the V4 will not run S4 ignitions. It will however run some S5 ignitions. I like the V4 but the V3 was easier to tune but didn't have the fine tuning ability the V4 has.

I hope I haven't confused you too much.

Can I use the S4 OMP? Is it compatible with the factory ignition?

from what I understand you can swap a S5 OMP with a S4 one but you need to get the control rod too. Others in this forum have done this. The V3 efi will work with the S4 Ignition but you will need to check with others from this forum about S5 coils/ignition. My experience is with a S 4 engine the ignition works stock don't forget to ground the ground wire in the ignition harness or no spark.
