quick afr and cold start Q
Hey guys, sorry i've been gone forever. Been out of the universe lately, and now i'm back. saved up some loot for the T2. and I got the greddy g20 turbo with the greddy FMIC to go with it. so quick Q i gotta go back to work in a sec. otherwise i'd search - and you guys are always willing to help a poor american
I posted the rx on the NW forums. and they were mentioning tons of ppl don't tune any 13b with afr's higher than 11.5 under boost. if I remember correctly you guys you to say around 12 to 12.5 under like 1psi and so forth. i'm just running 10psi ATM (wastegate spring). so i was wondering what you think about that?
also. cold start. i got 750 primaries and secondaries atm. i turn it over when it's cold, and i'm pretty sure i'm just getting too much fuel. I hit the floor clear and it'll fire. but when it starts up it's okay. and it idles fine when warm. however it idles around 12.5 AFR at best. sometimes more like 12.1 or even 11.9. im ont sure what i should have idle timing at. but I know you guys keep it high. Im thinking my injector starting pulse is just way high? but it's only like 7ish (while cranking).
I hope this made any sense, i'm realy trying to hustle. I'll take a look when i get home and try to make things more clear if they seem insanely unclear
