questions about solenoids etc

My project car has been on hold this winter due to other things being more urgent. But I'll start to work on it soon again.
I have a TII S5 engine, on a Wolf V3.1. It has ran, but not as good as it should. I'm suspecting vacuum leaks being a part of the problem. However, by studying the manuals, I realized I throw off a lot of parts... All solenoids are gone, as I have no ECU to control them anyway. My main concern is the one that is called turbo duty valve and goes in the waste gate line. How will the waste gate act when this solenoid is gone (and of course holes capped off) The waste gate actuator still gets the "signal" as before, but the "T" in it's steel hardline part is capped off, since it normally goes to the duty valve.
Another one is the Fuel pressure regulator, that seems to be controlled by a solendoid too??? How do other owner do this? Can't I use the stock FPR?
Then does anybody have a drawing/pic of the vacuum lines at the lower intake manifold? The ones around the injectors, I'm unsure what they are for.

The wastegate is fine as long as the vacuum line goes from the hardline source on the turbo (which is the boost side) to the wastegate. the T that went to the solenoid is not important. Just as long as wastegate gets the signal...

You can run a vacuum line to the stock FPR without a solenoid no problem. It should still be about 35 psi at idle/vacuum and 40 psi in boost. Unless you have upgraded puel pump, then add a few psi.

I run a vacuum line from the nipple between the injectors to another source on the throttle body. Read somewhere it helps with atomization or airflow somehow.

The two nipples on the 2ndary runners, I just connected hose between the two.

So the only thing I have for vacuum to really is wastegate, FPR, boost sensor and BOV. And the nipple between the primaries (if you want to call it vacuum) Everything else is capped.

Thanks, that's pretty much how I had done them on mine. My fuel pump is an SX pump, which pumps quite bit more then a stock FC one (I have the S5 engine installed in a S2 car). Since I needed a good EFI pump anyway, I wanted one that could handle future mods/upgrades.
