My engine porting(full bridge)required that I go with a stand alone chip. So have now got a wolf v500 + adapter loom, car = S6. Installed it onto my laptop matched the com ports as needed.But can't go online to ecu. Online, offline are greyed out & disconnected is displayed in the bottom LHS corner.
OS is windows XP. Have tried vista with the dotnetfx. Have tried via USB adapter with the same result.
Oh and the unit is powered shown by the green LED, all attempts with the key in it's highest position.
As above any useful advise appreciated.

Never mind. Just got online now. Had to do some minor alterations to the wiring loom + use a different computer. Contacted Robbie from wolf during my troubles, very helpful and knowlegable.
