General Wolf question for the other users

How long is the vacume line you are using to get manifold pressure to the internal map sensor of the wolf

I dscovered how easily you can create a situation where the wolf doesnt see the correct vacume quick enough while trying to T the wolf line, and started to wonder if the massive piece of line i had to use to get a vacume signal to the stock 2nd gen kickpanel in the passenger footwell should be replaced with nylon or something else

Mainly though, how long is the vacume line you run to the wolf? have you tried other setups?

Mine is most likely 8 foot long and is made from hard nylon small diameter line. I think that it may be responsable for a slight hesitation when smashing the gas from idle.

My ECU is under a seat.

In my experience it is just the opposite. The smaller the hose diameter, the more damped the signal becomes (bigger diameter equals sharp reaction).

Air is a very compressible fluid, very different than water. Even so, if you generate a signal (shock wave) in either water or air inside a tube, the smaller the diameter the more losses you will have along its length.

Please tell me if my explanation is clear enough.
