i really have no experience with the Wolf EMS', i let Chris take care of those but since he's gone i expect i will have to figure out that EMS as well. never have had any issues learning new engine management but it generally takes a good full day to get to know things and get a decent base tune setup for the first time.
i'm pretty booked up at the moment so if you can find anyone else who has experience with wolf already and are in somewhat of a hurry to get it set up i would suggest going that route.

If you have a boost controller you can use it to help tune your engine buy stepping up the boost slowly.

oh, i didn't mean i don't know how to tune, i just have never screwed with Wolf EMS before and i have looked at their software and saw Chris dealing with some issues while doing some tuning as well. issues i rarely see dealing with other EMS systems but Wolf seems to be getting things together, they just implemented buggy software and still have some hardware issues to sort out.

I haven't seen any V500s yet and there is very little data on them but they look well Over Flexible. There should be a dummy/expert modes to speed tuning or better base maps.
Karack if you have a strange problem with a Wolf drop me a line maybe one of us has delt with it before.

I am going w/ a V500, or was planning too. Looks like Chris isn't going to be my tuner/installer anymore. But I think my friend and I can handle it. I have all the time int eh world, plus I'm going to have it N/A first. Wasn't planning on trusting the Rtek on stock harness w/ my new motor and a turbo :P
