Oh man......SEMA was exhausting....
Vegas is the ****....I forgot how fun it is...
I haven't been there for a couple of years.
The clubs are expensive or maybe it was all the drinking...
I met a lot of people at SEMA that I have't seen since I worked D1, I'm glad to see most of them remembered me and were interested in talking business.......My FC is coming along nicely...Muah ahaha.
So it's time to sleep for days as I recover from probably over 15 miles of walking and hudreds of dollars in alcohol and door charge and stoopid tips......I always over tip!!!
Damned my courteous nature!!! LOL..........
Hey I didn't see any of the MazdaKix kids out there but I heard they were out and about......
Ok off to sleep I go.....

Question for you fine tuners in here.
So my project is a S4 TurboII with a Cosmo engine swap. It will be running on a Garret T4 with a FMIC.
Well I have been trying to find a deal on a full stand alone ECU and haven't found one yet.
A friend has a HKS F con that came off his FD that had a downpipe, midpipe, and exhaust and dual HKS intake filters.
So can I get this to work on my FC???
I am absolutely clueless about The HKS piggy back.
Any info in here????
Thanx

Yeah Forget all that mess then.
I'm looking for something quick and simple but I guess thats not possible on my budget.
I think I will just get everything installed and looking pretty for now and wait another month till I can just buy a E6X.
the car has sat for this long what's another couple of months or so.

Hey any recommendations for a fuel pressure regulator??
There are so many out there and everyone seems to have a different one on their car. What are you guys running on turbo cars???

Oh man, at SEMA in vegas there was one company who shall remain nameless that had a booth full of brake lines and fittings. The do it yourself kind.
Probably about $2,500 worth of gear. Well a well known local Pro drift racer in the scene happened to be at the right place at the right time when this guy decided that it would cause him a loss on profit to ship everything back to his storage in another state since he flew out. So this lucky racer ended up buying the whole booth, racks displays and all for $200!!!!!!!
Can you believe that crap!!!!!
The vendor didn't even know he was a racer at the time which makes it even funnier.
I need to call him in a few hours and score some of those lines from him!!!!!!
Oh yeah!!!!

A few hundred more???? NO.............I'm on a budget.
What is so bad about the E6X???
There are so many guys running it that aren't complaining about it.
Please enlighten me on potential causes of discomfort with the E6X.

why are you doing a cosmo swap if your'e on that tight of a budget?

e6x has a shitty reluctor and ghetto wiring for the crank sensor. terminal ignition problems.

Why am I doing a cosmo swap???
Because I got a complete running motor and S5 TruboII tranny and the custom Cosmo to FC mounts and I have only spent about $730 on it all so far.
My FC motor was pretty much completely destroyed from the 3 apex seals that exploded.
When I went to buy another motor all the S4 T2's were about $600 and the S5's were $750 so I went with the huge ports of the Cosmo(which I found through a friend).

believe it or not, the cosmo primaries are actually smaller...it's the runners that are big.

How come I can barely fit 2 fingers in the primaries of the S4 FC motor and I can easily fit them in the cosmo primaries like it's a Hoe????
I actually measured them but I just don't remember what the hell the sizes were so I will use the scientific finger comparison.
When I measured the Cosmo I thing the center iron was something like 1/4 inch taller and a couple of MM wider.
