Yeah i can get a tranny from a buddy for like 75 bucks, lot less miles too. Damn i wanted the rear end and driveshaft atleast.

I have a 1983 GSL. I will be swapping out the tranny with a 1985 GSL tranny.
Do I need to swap driveshafts to??
Will the shifter still come up through the hole or do I need to trim it??

Hey I was wrong about the TurboII tranny. It doesn't have 160k on it. It has somewhere in the 60k on it. It's from a friends car. It was wrecked one the front side and was parted out.
