Who can fix my FC in the IE?

Ok, so I have done most of the work on my 7 myself up until now, but it has been admittedly minor stuff. I've got something broken in the rear of the car (diff mount? u-joint problem? driveshaft?) but I don't have the tools or the expertise to really take it apart back there and figure it out. Is there anyone in the Redlands / San Bernardino / Riverside area that can help me out, or does anyone have a recommendation for a shop to go to that is good with these things? I have a feeling it's the diff mount, but I don't want to order one until I get another opinion. I live in Beaumont, BTW. Thanks in advance!

I think my diff mounts are bad too. What does your car do?

we can take a look at it, we are in El Monte. We can also tow the car to the shop if needed

Thanks everyone for the responses, sorry I didn't get back to this until just now.

RE Drifter: I get a clunk a lot of times when I shift gears and a lot of vibration in the rear part of the car, especially under heavy acceleration and in low gears. I've read up on the diff mount problems that FC's have, and it seems like that is my problem, but I'm not 100% sure. The rear diff mounts are just big washers, which I guess can go bad in theory, but it's the front one that actually breaks.

fleetcolormike: Rain came back....maybe it will be gone this weekend? I'm crazy busy during the week anyway.

-=Lil Red=- : thanks, I didn't know about your shop (I'm not on here much anymore). El Monte is a little far for me now, but if other options don't pan out I'll keep you guys in mind.

Did you lift your car and inspect all those parts yet? If not, a visual inspection should always be the first thing you do. Pay special attention to fatigued or stressed areas.
