I'm guessing it's more that $15/rate that's slowing responses, sir.
High school kids mowing lawns get more than that, these days.
You can often find people in the club that will HELP YOU do the work more or less for free, or for food & comraderie, or for parts swaps, etc.
But to do the work FOR you? While bringing their own tools? On a weekend?
I'm thinking you're a little shy on your valuation of a skilled mechanic's weekend time.
Just sayin'.

I didn't really know how to phrase that I was looking for someone that's pulled fc interior apart before. I was looking for someone who pretty much tinkers with rx7's and was willing to work with them.
In-regards to tools I have most given the fact if they pulled interior out before I would assume they would want to use there own specific tools to make the job easier and I may not have them.
The time was optional, I didn't say weekend's only as I mentioned Friday, just the sooner the better for me.
I pay my Gardner $40 a month to cut front and rear twice a month. So paying a guy $40 an hour off the street to pull some plastic out is in other words crazy.

Magus222 are you kidding me....
I would hope I would get my car worked on in a better environment than this for $100 and hour.

Otherwise, what you're really paying for is access to expertise you don't have. Expertise that's considerably less common than knowing how to shove a lawnmower around.
I'm a huge fan of doing it yourself even at the risk of breaking something; I research as carefully as I can, then I work my way through it. That gives the double benefit of both keeping your cash, and learning something new. Adds the meaty pride of accomplishment to the otherwise rather anemic pride of ownership, IMHO.
But then, I still mow my own lawn, too. Far better things to do with my $40. Like buying tools.

I totally agree with you it comes down to time for me, My expertise as far as interior goes, goes as far as removing everything else except the dash.
I figure somebody would of hit me up and said give me $120 and pay for gas or food and I would of done it but nothing. Said and done I did it myself and and it took all of 4 hours including lunch on one car one more car to go...
