you know what sucks, i have ref tickets in the past, adn chose to pay em... and recently i was denied a job which required a clean driving record *installing satalites for dish network*.. and even tho its not a point, they didnt accept my vehicle modification violations since they saw it as "opperation of illegal vehicles, we can't take that risk" bullshit... so these go into ur driving record as a violation even tho its not a point, but could also **** ur chances of getting a job.. way to go california!! This just happened to me on tuesday when i had a interview and was called last and didnt even make the interview because they told me this first.

So goes the rumor, unless you're trying to get a job a s a driver of something I suppose.... But since it's not a felony, it's like breaking the speed limit, except you can't get a lower rate by driving that road again @ the correct speed... you just pay the fine, or go to court and contest it.

Well, i just got hired on permantely at my job *yay for me* and they ran my criminal background. She printed 2 pages of BS.
Now they are all either registration or speeding tickets. but H.R. Told me if they had ran this before they had me as a temp, they wouldnt have hired me on. These tickets show a lack of responsibility. And if i'm not taking care of my life, how do they expect me to take care of my job.
That is how they see it. Sucks though, cuz Petty V.C. infractions shouldnt come up on a criminal background check.
Luckily for me, i proved myself over the last year and they overlooked that BS.

Yeah its funny how those fix-it tickets work onto your record. I've had a few over the last few year with my 2nd gen just getting every setup right and all. Some guys at work found a site that pulls up peoples criminal record showed I had like seven or eight infractions. I was those were all just fix-it ticket nothing more. Make it seem worse than it truely is.
Investing on a red FD is a oxymoron. Why spend your hardearned cash on a money pit. Learn from BJDino. Walk away and buy chevy equipped with a LS motor
