At this point, it is still tentative. I have to see how many people will pay by the due date. I will be able to know at that point.

I am kinda on the fence between the dyno and street tune. The car was tuned in '05 by Chuck at Rotary Extreme and runs fine. Since then there have been a few changes, the biggest being going from a mid pipe to a high flow cat. The car still runs fine but I figure it could be fine tuned more. My main goals are getting the car as close to passing tailpipe emissions as possible and having it run well on the street with reliability.

I don't want to read thru a bunch of crap just incase any details changes with this tune session.

Hey Ty,

From reading the other thread for tuning in Los Angeles with Steve, he said that he's stuck in Malaysia from some other business and everything looks like its gonna get pushed back 2 weeks?? Does that affect our group here?

Roto7FD,

I haven't gotten any notices from Steve but I will check on it right now. If he is going to push it back for a few weeks, it might mess my schedule. I will inform everyone when I get some word from Steve....

I hope the push back schedule is affecting this tuning session, as Steve would of done diligence and posted in this thread to let everyone know.
But let's keep our fingers crossed, as this will tremendously impact everyone's schedule, especially for Gotboost920 since you'll be heading back to Iraq to shoot up some taliban dude.

I just gotten word from steve about the situation. The deal about him pushing everything back for two weeks DOES NOT apply to us. We are confirm with him and he is committed for that weekend...

Kind of a stupid question but I think I should ask anyways. How likely is it, since I'm 4th on the list, to get tuned that saturday. Reason being I might have to tow my **** down to san jo. Yes it's running that crappy. I don't wanna go all the way down there and then there won't be enough time that day and have to come back Sunday.

I know some of the guys already have requested to be tuned on saturday such as in your case. I will note you request and will make a schedule. For the most part, you will get to tune on saturday...

Any chance for one more on this list. I still have 200 miles of break in on my car, but that will be done by the scheduled date of Feb. 17-18 and I really need an experienced tuner for a dyno tune on this one. The car is a single turbo with power fc and the engine build & porting was done at pineapple racing. The engine is dialed in really rich for the break in period and I would love to be able to get it tuned that weekend with Steve.
Let me know if you have room, even if it is on Friday.

Just curious, I talked to Steve last year at RRR's tune featuring Steve K. Very nice guy, very understanding and I got a great impression of his ability being that I was there ALL day.

To put it in a nutshell, my car still needs to be tuned because my car had problems on the last session. All is supposed to be fixed now and I am willing to make the drive if there is space.

Is he tuning again in SoCal on April (he estimated he would re-appear on April) or has the schedule changed and this is the only event he will be at early this year? I'm not trying to threadjack but I've been dying to get more power from my car with the mods I have ;]

I see that this tuning session is at capacity and would hate to lose an opportunity to get my FD running at higher power.

Please PM me if there is any way to make room for me and I can be guaranteed a spot. Thank you!

So I know gotboost is a busy man so we are all mature here im sure we can agree on a scheduel to make his life a little easier. Just chime in with a preference and im sure everyone can be accomidated. My honest opinion would be we are all paying the same amount we are all gauranteed to get tuned so unless there is a special circumstance the people traveling the farthest should get first pick. I live 5 min away so i really dont care when I go.

1) Insomniac
2) gotboost920...first since he set this all up
3) Unnerv
4) Roto7Fd...Preferably 2-3
5) 209FD
6) RURX
7) Sirshan
8) Twomuchboost4you...No preference

Hey Steve - I was the guy with the black FD with fuel pump issue when you were in Phoenix back in March 06 . I'm now in San Jose and would like to finalize the tune.

Any chance you can fit me in?

Thanks.

I thought it was too late for people to jump in since the deposits were sent?? Did I miss something here?? For all the people who just chimed in wanting to get in on the tune (if it is still possible), I think you got to go through gotboost first as he is the organizer. Just FYI.
