Bunta,

Do you have contact with Getto Dave? It would be soooo excellent if he was up and could do some street tuning at the track - just a thought

I have contact with ghetto dave. send me a PM with your phone # and setup and I'll pass it onto him next time I talk to him, probably sometime this week and see if he's up to it.

I'll talk to Dave, and might even step that up a notch and ask another friend to bring his chassis dyno to the track!

OK, I just registered and I appear to be number 6. What happened to everyone who was interested in a track day at Thunderhill? The track fees are alot lower than a different group I run with (less cars).

It seems as though everybody here is more interested in the track day instead of drifting? I know I am but it may be fun to watch people burn through $400 worth of tires in an afternoon. Also, will this be full track or will there be cones before turn #1, and bypass or no bypass.

My preferred method is Full track, no cones, no bypass. We'll have enough instructors out there, so even beginners (or any level) will feel very comfortable. When you fill out reg, please be straightforward about your experience in order to place you into the correct grouping.

After my first class this year, my instructor moved me up to the "c" class, or maybe it was down with the tards? Anyway, very fun day. What would everybody think a get together the night before?

Are you the infamous Mr. Moon?
I don't know what's up with these people. I guess they would rather hang around the local 7-11, or there parents won't let them go away for the weekend.

Mr. Moon is number 6 on the list. I'll be I've got you beat by at least 5 years.
If we could get the guy to bring the dyno, and get Dave up for the weekend, AND it doesn't rain - setup for a great day!

I don't know about that, I am pretty old. I would be interested in the dyno if it does not cost too much. I would like to see what kind of affect changing the amount of discs on my Supertrap mufflers makes.

im having trouble with my drivetrain so i'll just be watching this one. i talked to my DSM buddy and he's definitely interested. i just need to get him the specifics.

looking back through the thread, it will be the dec. 11th date right, not the dec. 18th.

The car did fine. I did get the meatball flag because a broken exhaust hanger. Luckily a guy there fixed it with his welder for me.
