Just seen on the T.V half hour is came on and watched as much live coverage as I could before heading out to work, that Tokoyo Japan was hit with a 8.9 Earth Quake, then soon after a 7.1 After Shock, then soon after that a series of HUGE Tsunamie's...

Charlie my prayers go out to you and the city of Tokyo hope all is well

Tokyo is granted to get hit with 8-9 foot Tsunamie's early morn at 5am Cali Time...

Hawaii is also and a few other spots are on high alert for Tsunami Hits...My brother just docked into Hawaii earlier yesterday hours before the earth quake just to find this crap out...I hope hawaii does not get hit...aside from my brother being out there, I also have a friend who lives in Hawaii...

My prayers Go out to all!!!! Tokyo and surrounding Cities and those places on high alert...The worse is yet to come New reporters said...

I got a message back from one of my friends from Japan and she said shes okay along with her family.
Now I just need to hear back form the rest of them.... =/

Boats in those harbor/port cities are getting swept away and down with the current taking everything in it's path, they have been closing all the beaches...watching the president speak right now!!! at 9:42am

The tsunami footage was intense.

It's three total earthquakes so far, 8.9, 7.1 (aftershock), and an inland 6.6.

 

I've been very busy since this has happened, every news channel is at my work getting info from the seismology department. Prayers go out to my uncle and his family who have been affected.

 

Heart and Prayers to every and anyone who's effected from this crazy act of nature.

 

I have a buddy that is stationed in Okinawa right now. I don't know how close that is but hopefully he is ok. Prayers go out to all.

 

From what I've read, all American military personnel in Japan are accounted for, and most American civilians.

EDIT: I have two friends stationed in Yokosuka and the info about military personnel was from them.
