Exclamation Tanabe in need of stock Third Gen FD3S for R&D (Torrance)

Hey folks

Tanabe needs a good condition stock Third Gen for development of a new exhaust system.

We had issues with the car we were using (secondary turbo problems, 0 secondary boost) so we could not get accurate hp figures.

Definition of good condition stock:

No modifications to powertrain, this includes intake, rear muffler, downpipe, midpipe, ecu, intercooler, injectors, etc. Motor must be stock port.

Turbocharger control system should be in good working condition. Primary and secondary turbos should be working properly (10-8-10). Turbos should be running sequentially.

Car will need to be put on the dyno for baseline, and power check (with exhaust).

I know this is very hard to find, but I gotta try. Good R&D requires good condition cars as a base for development :p I'd loan my car, but it's definitely not stock, and most definitely has not been running for some time now

Please call us ASAP

What will the car owner's reward in exchange for borrowing out the car for Tanabe. I have 37k mile 93 R1 with perfect running condition and some bolt on. I can put back stock part to make it as a stock car again. Only stock part i don't have is the Cat Back. Also does the suspension need to be stock too? If not, I will left the suspension as is. I have to judge to see if this is worthwhile to do so.

Modified suspension is OK. The car's power and drivetrain needs to be stock, so the exhaust system must be returned to stock upon arriving.

We are still in need of this car.

As long as everything goes as planned with r&d, you will more than likely be able to keep this system as compensation.

Still have not located a good condition stock car. The exhaust system is still up for grabs!

If you locate me a stock cat back and a car lift and help to change the exhaust back to stock, I am willing to borrow my car.

My car is pretty much stock. I have all the stocks parts. If Tanabe willing to put back the stock parts themself and put back the bolt on after it's done. You are welcome to pick up my car anytime.
