a little info for you guys from our last tuning with Steve.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Bring cash to pay your remaining balance to Steve.

2. Stock turbos - get a second O/2 bung added to your downpipe and make it easily accessible.

3. Single turbos - Remove your O/2 sensor to make sure it's not siezed on there.

4. Change your plugs 1 day prior to tuning, and bring extra plugs just in case of fouling.

For those who are running stock turbos, They should put a 2nd bung that is easy access so that I can put my wideband in. usually, there is a 300-500rpm delay from the end of the exhaust pipe. I like to be able to monitor a/f as close to the engine as possible. It makes it easier to tune the car in a tight schedule.

For single turbo, as long as the O2 sensor isn't hard to get to, they don't need to put an extra bung. Just make sure that they at least try to remove the O2 sensor since I have seen many cars where their sensor was seized onto the bung.

Other than that, I think bringing an extra set of plugs wouldn't be a bad idea, make sure everyone change their plugs 1 day prior to tuning (no earlier or later). this will eliminate fouled plugs and also eliminate a variable of insufficient sparks from old plugs.

Ok, I gotten word from the dyno shop (Tech 3) that it'll be the same rate as last time 90.00/hr and they would prefer all cash. I'm still working with them to get more details, plus they are wanting to know if we even have enough cars to need their facility for all 3 days.

The list below are those that have sent in their deposit to me. I'm still waiting on others that haven't paid yet, so I can give Steve and the dyno shop the final numbers, so please let me know if you're able to attend or need to be taken off the list.

insomniac - paid
tdazmansFD - paid
Roto7FD - paid
Houdini - paid
dstrbdsht - paid

Just curious if someone can help me install a GM 3 Bar Map Sensor prior to my tune with Steve. I'll have an FC-Datalogit with me to set it up. Anyone?

Hybrid Turbo

My Vert has a Hybrid Turbo and Haltech. Do I need the second O2 bung?

If your O/2 is easily accessible to plug in the wideband sensor, then no.
If not then a secondary bung would be ideal.

Could we stop cluttering up the thread with these kinds of posts? It's irrelevant to the situation at hand!!

here's a link to the dyno shop that we will be using that day

http://www.tech3performance.com/wst_page3.html

and as a reminder, please have your car in top running condition as Steve is here to tune only.

Have all the bugs worked out before that date.

Come on guys, the cut off date is nearing, and I will need to send the deposit to Steve and make a final count. Please send me your deposit if you haven't done so.

So far these are the people that I've received payments for, so there are still spaces left if anyone else is interested in joining.

I'll be extending the cut off for deposit until April 22nd, as a lot of people are still working on their car and are unsure if they'll be able to make the commitment yet.

April 22nd...., so if you need more time, or PM me your situation and we might be able to arrange something.

No one dropped out or anything? I'd love to get in on this as my car will be back from the shop this week and it'd be nice to have it tuned for the new mods! Thx
