Steve Kan tuning in San Jose - Feb 16-18, 2008
Great turn out today despite the fact that 1 car didn't get to tune because of mechanic issues.
schleprx7 - for monday could you show up at 10am instead of 9.
thanks,
Phong

wanted to say steve is cool as hell. and thanks phong for setting it up. my tuning didn't go as expected. but i was in a rush to get my fd over there. wasn't in best shape, but will fix all the kinks and will be back for next tuning session. possible bigger turbo and better manifold+ front mount. thanks all
Steve was cool..he helped fix the problem with my FD today regarding my boost controller...Thanx Steve...it was coo meeting everyone...next time i will upgrade my fuel injectors....thanks phong for coordinating the tuning and tech 3!
thanks for the extra time you spent on taking care of Juan's car (the black S5 TII) Steve! and thanks to Phong for setting up the session.
i was hoping to see the car hit 400+ but i have never dealt with a turbo with such a small A/R turbine housing, i guess you live and learn and now know .68 is way too small for any rotary engine(wasn't my choice on the turbine, i prefer ~.96hot side or slightly larger) and perhaps we will see you again next tuning session with a new turbine and larger secondaries.

thanks everyone for coming out and making the tune, steve did a wonder job trouble shooting and fixing most issues that would of taken some of us weeks or months to figure out.
Awesome session, Phong. I hear that you are planning to setup another session with Steve in June/July time frame. You can put me down on the list since I missed it this time.
Phong, thanks for all your work putting this together and to Steve for his tuning. I'm pretty happy with my 302whp/277tq numbers on my stock twins. Especially with my fans dying.
I'm definitely in for June if I can get my fan issues sorted out and get an ignition amp installed.
