Steve Kan tuning in San Jose - Feb 16-18, 2008
Hey guys,
We're having Steve come back again this coming Feb for another 3 day tuning session in San Jose, so I just wanted to post this up for anyone that would like to get their cars tuned. Steve will be able to tune about 5 cars a day plus a stand-by if possible to get a total of 15 cars or more done that weekend. This will require a 200.00 deposit to secure a spot for anyone interested. Plus dyno fee from the dyno shop. As for a dyno shop, we are still working out details for that and I'll post up the info once available.
I can start collecting deposits now via paypal, please send 200 + paypal fee = 207.00 to phong_le@pacbell.net
This is his pricing, so look below to see what you can expect.
Dyno Tuning Prices
$350 - Stock Turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$400 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - Aftermarket Turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$600 - Aftermarket Turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps
On all tuning sessions there is a Non-refundable $200 deposit.
Time Frame
Stock Turbo - 45 mins - 1.5 hrs
Aftermarket Turbo (pump gas) 1hr - 2.5 hrs
Aftermarket Turbo (race gas and/or auxiliary injection) 2 - 4hrs
Aftermarket Turbo (2 maps) 3-6 hrs

Just to add, this is a confirmed date, not asking people to show interest then play hide and seek when asked to send in deposits.
So please add your name to the list if you're serious about getting your car tuned.
The cut off for deposit will be Jan 11th 2008, then I'll send it all to Steve so that will give him roughly 30 days to book his plane ticket.

put me down for street tuning with steve. i like to go first on saturday since there is no setup on the dyno involve and to maximize my free time on san jose.
oh yea, insomniac, i thought you wasn't going to get a tune? well, it's a good thing for you cuz you are going to need all the help you when we get mono-a-mono...hahaha

I forgot to add this when i initially posted:
You can either do a street tune or dyno tune, it's really up to you. The driver(owner) of the car will be fully responsible while street tuning on the public roads.
Plus Steve ask for this if you're joining us.
1. Bring cash to pay your remaining balance to Steve.
2. Stock turbos - get a second O/2 bung added to your downpipe and make it easily accessible.
3. Single turbos - Remove your O/2 sensor to make sure it's not siezed on there.
4. Change your plugs 1 day prior to tuning, and bring extra plugs just in case of fouling.

hey insomniac i got 96k on my motor i dont think i should even tune it i might just rebuild it or just buy a new 1 sorry about that you can just scrach me off my bad what do you think?
