Someone Stole my beater!@#$% (SF)

Damnit! Some ricer stole my blue 92 Acura Integra w/ 17" Gun Metal 5-Spoke Enkies (Volk GTC look-alikes) from in front of my house in Noe Valley.

****. The fucked up thing is that my dry cleaning(25 shirts) was in the car. I think I miss my laundry more than the car LOL

That's the problem. It my beater and I don't have any pictures of it. I'll have to post the LIC# when I can find the registration.

Very sorry to hear that, John. Hopefully you'll get a good settlement from the insurance and can find another decent daily driver.

Good luck, man.

Someone broke into my '90 Integra daily beater today, but they didn't steal anything. They probably realized how shitty it was and figured it wasn't worth the trouble. Either way I'm getting full coverage now. I'll be on the lookout for your integ.

Ok, now I have my **** together:

Here's exacty what the car looked like with out the 17" rims on it:

Picture it with 17" Enkie Gun Metal w/ center caps rims on it with 215/40/17's on it. Below is a pciture of the Volk GTC, mine was a knock off of it.

The license number is: 3MZL427 and the "integra" emblem is on the right trunk lid is missing but the adhesive is still there and you can still make out the "integra"

The cops say that they recover 96-98% of all stoled cars in the city. I just hope that if mine comes back, it isn;t a big hassle to dirve it. If I have to rebuild the steerign column or buy new wheels and change windows and door locks. I may just "donate" it to some charity that can restore it ans sell it.

Give me a call if anyone sees it.

Thanks guys,

John

Sorry to hear that. Maybe your 17" rims attracted those teen ricers. I'll keep my eyes open. I live and work around your area.

Update: I just got my beater back! The car was recovered by the San Leandro PD. I got the call Thursday and went to go see it Friday. I was expecting the worst. I was mentally prepared to donate the car on the spot and just have the tow yard scrap it (after I paid the $240.00 towing/storage fee). All they could tell me over the phone is that is was brought in via a flatbed truck and it was not driveable.

I was pleasantly suprised to see that the thieves only took the rims, stereo and used a screwdriver to force/turn the ignition. Everything else was left alone. The door locks work fine, they even left the Inifity Bass-link and 10 disc changer. They probably didn't have time to take every thing. They did however manage to take my 25 dress shirts...*******.

So, I went to the closest junk yard and bought some 14" acura/honda steel rims and tires and took my beater back home. In all, it cost me $375 to get it back minus the 17" rims and tires. I'm not even going to bother fixing the ignition. I do have one of those brake pedal-type clubs on it now.

Now, do I keep it and get some new wheels(gotta have wheels) or should I just sell it? ... At least I have it back.

Jpandes,

Congrats on getting your Teg back man. I'm sorry to hear about your shirts, I know they costs an arm and a leg.

Sadly to say, last monday, my 1990 Tegra was stolen too. This used to be my beater when I had the FD but it was my main means of transportation. What is even worse is that my car has no stereo (they stole that a few months back), but has only some wack wannabe racer type wheels, which came with the car upon purchase. My Teg was nothing near as nice as yours is.

So Audiobot, i'm right there with you man.
