i thought he was having problems with the car, why would he drive it then

 

Vipers is saying that bob was at meet number 10, look at picture number 10. he did not make it to meet number 11.

 

The meet was fun! to bad the up hill almost made my kar overheat.

i must have got a ride in at least 20 different cars,
and met so many cool people
here are list of cars ive got a ride in yesterday:
Lotus Elise, Fiat roadster,Evo,STi,2 WRX,S2000,5 miata and one of them with turbo, 2 240z,2 ae86,rx7. Soooooooo much fun

Hey James, I forgot to ask you: are the STi's accelerating faster than my car, or are they just able to hold more speed in the corners?

for those of you interested in seeing the pictures, go to the RX8club forum and see the "once a month meet in San Bernardino" thread. there are a LOT of pictures this time.

 

definately just acceleration in straight away.
and plus some of the experienced driver was just chucking their rear,
which is something you are definately afraid to do.
the guy i was in (wrx) which was faster than sti, got 62.6 right?
ok, he had reg tires, but wide rims(big difference in traction),
aftermarket turbo (it fully boosted at 3.5-4k), well set up suspension(i mean
his car would just cut corner).
Your car is really fast for a stock. You have to think about that most of these
fast guys have good tire/rim set up with suspension, and a lot more
power/response tuning done to them. You are experiencing just peer goodness
of rx7. The rx7 was way faster than stock sti or wrx.(better cornering speed& ability), about the same acceleration)

Yo Yo Ca-sey!! I had to miss the meet to watch my little brother for my mom. I had the day off and everything, but I had to put my real family before my rotary family. But I am going to seven stock for sure. Maybe we can hitch a ride with you guys, if not its cool I will just have to take the *cough VW cough*.

hey jessy, when you said "that is your rear brakes"
you think it was the rotors or the pads?

 

probubly just pads, but that was metal to metal...so if you caught it early, your rotors might be ok....if you dug into them, then its both.

 

its definately dug in >_<

 

Ha for those that care, probably no one lol, I got my California plates finally, instead of the connecticut ones, cars up to date now, just need to finish working on the nasty body
