^^ If my old pos made it to oregon than anything is possible. have almost always seen the selling price of turbo models above kbb. If anybody wants to tag along down to Arizona I don't mind picking you up. Oh and guys I like to argue so don't get mad
I could really use roberts opinion on the matter right now.

That is exactly what my dad and I determined when we bought the new RX-7 a couple months ago. We decided to go with another N/A because used turbo cars have more potential for failure and severe abuse. Also, if there is a problem with the turbo system, it can be incredibly expensive.

That is absolutely beautiful. Will, if you're looking for a car around that price range, wouldn't it be worth it to get a super clean one like that (for a similar price as the other you found in Arizona), and pay $800 to ship it across the country? I would love to see you drive up to the meet in that one.

Updated: I just read that whole thread and hes asking $5900 for it.

that TII only has 73k miles..... nice.

Auto Crossers. they jsut posted this. they would like for you to send them an e-mail, that way they know how many to expect.

Here is what they wrote:
Mandatory Novice course walk 5:45 - be at the start line on time- The Novice Chairman, Leonard Cachola, will be giving the course walk and will not wait for straglers.

Mandatory Novice safety will begin directly after the course walk approximately 6:10 - Sebastian Rios will be instructing the Novice group on safety and Solo2 ettiquette.

These are mandatory for novices that have driven less than 3 events.

It would be a help if the novice drivers that are not already points card holders or in our system would send the following info so we get an idea of the number of novices attending, we can do a "pre-reg", and class the car you drive.
There is limitied access to this e-mail address and after the NOTLD, all messages will be erased and the address closed.

The email addy is solo2novice@msn.com

So is it $35 to run? Or do I need the $5 weekend pass as well?

My friend doesn't have a helmet, are rentals available? If not, does anyone have an extra one he can use?

Jessie all my parts land tomorrow from AMS. I plan on bolting them on tomorrow, then taking a drive to RRE(road race engineering) and have them tune it. I talked with another EVO X owner and RRE tuned his car to 358awhp with the mod's that I'm getting in. That's on 91 octane. He road races his EVO, and has been with no issues on that tune! I can't wait to get that done, I'm like a kid in a candy store!! LOL!

RedBaron, were you in the Target parking lot at Foothill and Haven last Thursday in Rancho Cucamonga? I saw a silver EVO X and he kind of looked like you, although it was a bit far away. Just curious if you are around here often.

well, like I said, there are loaners available. they are kinda gross, but they ge tthe job done. I would hate to see osmeone buy a helmet for a 3 lap race.

now on the other hand, if you are wanting one anayways, then by all means... go ahead. just make sure its SNELL approved. (not just DOT)

I do have one helmet I can bring with me. its new. only problem is, its a closed face (full), not an open face. in autocrossing, an open face is much nicer. gives you great field of view. a closed face is very restrictive on sight.

I am looking forward to playin with all of you at the track. hopefully the night race goes smooth.

Nawww...not really. With the weight difference we should be about equal or you should be faster. The EVO X is 3345(according to road &track), and the EVO IX 3045lbs or so. Jessie you know better then I do the weight difference. I think it's about 300lbs. difference, but Jessie you have the RS model which is the lightest.

of course your welcome to get one. but if you want to see if you like auto crossing before you buy a helmet, you could always barrow one the first time.....

up to you.
