SoCal 's monthly San Bernardino rotary meet: Second Saturday of each month.
WHO: Anyone who owns or drives a rotary-powered vehicle.
At one meet, we had all three generations of RX-7, and plenty of RX-8's. Old schoolers are welcome as well.
WHAT: We meet at 9:00 am, and hang out for a while.
We usually head out for a drive around 9:30 or 10:00, and stop and grab lunch later.
WHEN: Second Saturday of every month.
For the rest of 2005, that will be: August 13, September 10, October 8, November 12, and maybe December 10 (we skipped December last year).
WHERE: Parking lot of Pirate City Tattoo, which is on E Street in San Bernardino, across from Pep Boys.
Map and address can be found at http://www.piratecitytattoo.com/
If you've got any questions, feel free to ask on this thread, or PM speeddemon32 , vipers , or myself.

Posted on the other thread to start using this one.
i like the updated thread, time for a change i guess. dont think ill start a new one on the 8 site though, that one seems to be doing fine.
anyways, the next meet will be on August 13th 9:00 A.M. (but i am sure you knew that if you already read the first post)
See Y'all later!
(Vipers, when are you going to get the car painted?)

re: track days,
I personally don't have the funds to enter my car in wheel-to-wheel action. I don't trust myself (and the other drivers) enough to avoid the mishaps that can occur at 100+mph.
Be that as it is, it's too bad there aren't more race tracks in SoCal. There used to be a nice track in Riverside, from what I hear.

But if the 95 FD goes down, well..........
What kind of temps you you expect that weekend? I have no AC
I'd guess somewhere between 55-105 F, with a slight chance of showers. You might want to ask a weatherman just in case.

anyone got any advice on how to remove a broken wheel stud off the front hub? the brake rotor was practically welded on with corrosion I used a 35lb dumb bell to finally break it free but wasn't lucky enough to gett the stud out I will probably have to remove the whole hub right and go from there?
You might want to double-check this, but I've heard they can just be hammered through on some cars.
If there's enough room, you could weld a nut onto the remaining threads and use a TON of WD40 or PB Blaster to make it easier to remove.
Good luck,
