Socal Drag strip day?
I want to test out my straight line skills and my car setup also at a drag strip. I know that Irwindale has an 1/8th mile track, and I think they're open to the public on Thursdays? And the CA speedway in Fontana has a 1/4 mile track but I don't know any info on days that the general public can run.
So who would be down to hit up one of the 2? Hopefully someone who has attended one of the tracks could give us some details.
Oh yeah, and I'm moving in a week and a half, so I'd want to do this ASAP.

We always go to Irwindale and it is true, you need a fire jacket to run
you car because it has turbo?I am there almost every thursday.
California speedway will let you run if your car is currently registered and have proof of insurance. They won't let you run if you do not have insurance.
LACR will be closing soon, but this track you can go all out,They don't ask nothing,
just make sure you have your radiator overflow and all your lug nuts on your wheels. You can even run with no muffler.
Fris looks like he is pain, in that picture.

I'm leaving the state for a few months this Sunday, so I want to hit up the track before I go, maybe I'll go to Irwindale this Saturday. I have factory twins, so I should be cool with no jackets right? I don't even know of turbo jackets that would fit over the twins.
I've never heard of LACR before, but I'm in LA county (Hacienda Heights). I'll see if there's any events this week and maybe I'll hit those up too.
SRTs? They're cool, but I eat skittles for snacks.
