So I've got a ticket for littering on the free way ramp...
When I was enterting the freeway, my cig butt flew out of my car. A cop stopped me and gave me a ticket for littering. Any of you guys got ticket for littering before? I didn't see any sign saying "littering, fine up to $1000" in that area.
How much am I looking to pay?

If a cop is close enough to watch you throw a 1'' piece of paper out the window, he was close enough for you to see him. I honestly don't understand how or why you will fight this one. More than likely the judge will be a little annoyed that you decided to waste his time. Pretty much these days, the old theory of "maybe the cop will not show" isn't really true. The officer either gets overtime or time off the street/jail. It's a win/win situation either way. Plus no officer wants to see some punk kid get off of a ticket after he put in all of the trouble of giving you one(an hour or so of time).
