So I'm getting the seatbelt recall done right now...Anyone know how long it takes?

So I'm getting the seatbelt recall done right now...Anyone know how long it takes?
Dropped my FC off at 7:30 this morning. They said they would call but nothing yet. Is this that hard and lengthy of a process?

The tech already warned me that they might break some trim pieces cause they might be brittle. Kinda nervous and I miss my damn car...

you heard wrong. business is SLOW for independant shops like the one i work at and for dealerships.

Basically since it related to the seatbelts and has to do with personal safety, there is a lifetime warranty on the auto belts.

So I just got back. They work flawlessly but these guys have no mercy. yeah it was all free but the panels are loose, they tucked one of my wideband wires under the belt track cover LOL and well left one panel in the rear where the motor goes completely loose but I'll take care of it. All in all great service.

lucky for you. i took off all the panels myself so they wouldnt break them but it didnt take them long to do it if i remember correctly. but i def got the run around. i had to find the recall numbers and call colin at mazda HQ

Huh that sucks! I literally went the first time like 2 weeks ago. They ran the vin to make sure the car was registered and said, "ok you're goof to go, we'll call you when the parts arrive". Sure enough they called last friday and I wasnt free til today so all in all it took a few hours. They didnt break anything but were to o lazy to make sure all the clips were there LOL

Oh well overall I'm pleased
