Obviously you missed this part so I'll spell it out for you. Given that the CA smog certificate test is an objective test the tech has no business asking personal questions nor any questions for that matter. In adddtion accusing someone of an illegal activity where the is zero basis for that conclusion points to personal bias. Personal bias in this case = hater.

how about you open up your own smog shop in CA and come back here "little boy"

ps, don't be angry just because some states don't have rediculous smog laws. if a car passes the sniffer then it should pass, in california they are hurting smog more than they are improving it due to the amount of people who bypass the laws completely by removing their cats once the smog is done. hell, if a car can be improved and make 350WHP with a cat i would tend to think that people would possibly be more inclined to actually smog their cars legally and keep them smog legal. but you have to do everything to a T or pass illegitimately, in which case you have cars running around with straight pipes and no cats because you're either 100% legal or you're 100% illegal in california. i didn't notice a huge difference running a main cat versus not, but in cali if you got pulled over it is game over regardless if it's on there or not if everything isn't all there anyways so most just say "**** it".

we all know that you don't need all the bullshit that the car came with in order to have a clean running car but who is in charge? there you go, the same people that impose $1k fines and yank your license for not checking an EGR valve.
