The only issue is see with this is that all of Phil's Numerous Rotary vehicles are Automatic and He does not know how to drive a manual 5 speed. NO JOKE

So when is there going to be a cruise again in SD? I enjoyed the last cruise and would like to catch up with friends and meet new peeps.

So has anyone given any real thought regarding meeting places and times for the departure for SevenStock 12? The SD RX Club has typically met near I-5 and CA78. Actually on the northwest corner of CA78 and Jefferson St, at the Einstein's / Starbucks located there.

Sometimes folks have also met at another location in the Kearney Mesa area. Fusion, I believe.

If we don't decide it here, let's make sure to discuss at the August meeting. Only a couple of weeks away. Some of the RX-8 crowd has an interest in going up together. Let's try to work this one together for a joint rotary group from San Diego.

I'll be booking a Room from Friday to saturday @ the Double Tree hotel this year for the event.

Looks like I'll be taking off friday from work early to take the drive up to Irvine in the afternoon.

 

well if anyone can get into contact with me I would appreciate it. I'm gonna be going from redlands which is where the 10/210 meets kind of, maybe I can meet up with you guys and roll the rest of the way somewhere.....would be nice to roll with fellow 7 owners

Nah. I just wanna head up early to chill with friends in LA and roll with them to sevenstock.

I don't feel like driving 2 hours and waking up at 4am the morning of sevenstock. I'm probably just going to sleep in my car or crash at someones house.

 

Worddd. Ill see how hotels are looking, if it's **** then maybe just sleep in the car too.

So leave by like 4 to get there on time?

 

Irvine is only 90 miles. Usually I can get there in 1 hour without traffic. However it's gonna be a Saturday morning so traffic is gonna be there.

I say if you leave SD at 6 you can make it since your 20 minutes closer to Irvine than me. But if you head up friday with me to LA you can untrailer your car saturday and roll in the pack to be protected and wake up a lot later too.

the only reason I am going up on friday is to get a good parking space at the double tree hotel the night before the event and also hang out with others who have flown in for the event.

It also nice to be able to avoid that saturday morning traffic into irvine area on the day of the event.
Double tree also offers shuttle service to all the surrounding point of interest while the car sites pretty at the hotel.
