Traffic is terrible on 5 South between the 134 and 605 Freeways particulary in the East LA interchange. Thats 20 miles of sitting on a stop and go traffic.

Not really, especially at that time. As long as they make it past that point by about 4:30.

Berry and I won't be in the caravan this year. We both have to work on Friday. But we'll be heading down after work. With one of our SC RX-7 brothers in tow.

I'll stop and say what up when you guys get to the old road. I have a wedding that day so I'll be off of work.

want us to give you a call, or just gonna stop by at that time we should be there?

Last year we actually were on schedule pretty good, and only got delayed a little waiting for a few people at the old road stop.

I will be driving my '8 as well.

Last year Zach and Berry kept up with us just fine in their Xb (and laughed that they got 35 MPG the whole time).

Mapquest how many miles LA is from your house, double that (round trip), divide that by your average mpg highway, then multiply that by the average cost of premium since you have a turbo (Roughly $3.00 since LA I think it's more expensive) then add in the costs of 2 days worth of food, drinks, then hotel, etc

Figure roughly 500 miles or 4 tanks of gas in most rotary powered vehicles (except Nicks, which it will be 8 tanks of gas).

LA gas is usually about .20 cheaper than bay area gas.
