If my car passes smog I will be there. :/ Next thurday is when I go and Ill post in here if I pass. Im in anaheim so Im sure the drive will be a headache, but the fact that I can drive the car now in it self is something I would be very pleased with and wouldnt worry too much about. Besides, I need to put some faces to the screen names here finally.

I can't promise anything. Just bought a Power FC and Profec Boost Controller for the FD, need to run it up to JMC and see if they'll tune it, also need tires and a couple other pieces. Man if it's not one thing it's another(OMP, then fuel pump, then fuel lines, then vacuum issues, now I find out the motor's a street port and I really need the Power FC, blah blah). Working on it though. Need to go, but rather not take the DD.

I found a guy on the forum who knows the former owner of the car(I bought it in an insurance auction), and based on what he told me of the car(and the fact that the guy he said was the former owner, his name came up on some different paperwork behind the driver's seat), it makes sense. I didn't buy this car from another person, so all I knew, were the mods I could visually see. It had a streetport done in 2004 at JMC and the former owner's name was Brian Howard(I think I don't remember where I put his stuff). The car also had a Power FC originally but it was stolen at the auction and I'd been using a factory ECU(though not driving it in boost until I had all the bugs out of the car).

Just wish my S13 was sold so I had the extra funds to finish this car. The whole thing is making me want to rip the rotary out and go with another option, but if it's got a recent streetport, I'd rather not..

Ehhh.. I prefer NOT to blow up my engines. Infact, I've been fortunate enough never to have lost an engine. I'm not financially in a position yet, to do another 13b in the FD, or an LS swap, and I'm also not in a position to replace the motor in my C5 should it get tired of my daily abuses... So better to be a little on the safe side.

Not slow. I haven't posted in one of the San Diego threads in months, so it's no surprise you forgot about me. I'd only gone to the one meet at Fuddruckers too at the beginning of the year. Work's been kicking my butt so I havent had Saturdays off, and I've spent 2 grand on stuff for the FD trying to get it to where it can handle daily driving(Though it would never be a daily driver for me).

I'll try for this next meet, but I don't know which car I'll be in..

Yeah Justin, I've been rolling in the STi while the FD is down. Nobody cares man, it's all about food and bull-shitting. Of course the one meet I miss, you show up.

 

If I can get this 4th off I'll show up, even if I have to bike.

It rained the entire meet so you didn't miss too much. Kind of frustrating as I had a black G35 try and race me heading home and I just took one look at the road and went heeelllllll noooo!
