My car isn't boosting and I want to try a few things.. if you have a good maf laying around, maybe an 02 sensor, or waste gate, I need to borrow or maybe buy them off you, if I can figure out what's wrong with my car.

Yeah I don't want to just throw parts at the car though.
I just need to try these few things out to isolate the problem.
02 sens is not a big deal... but Im not gonna drop $100 on a maf or wastegate...
especially since i'm trying to stay stock engine for a while, until the chassis is sorted out.
Or I might just pick up that 13bRE off of craisglist..

 

what you going to do with the block in the car?

 

Well the block is good. I know that. But something is causing it to not boost. I don't want to tinker with it and drop $400 in parts on it and then blow a seal on the 150k mile engine. I'd rather
A) find out what the problem is and fix it cheap, run the engine for a while and drop another stocker in there later
B) Swap in a newer engine and build this short block up for boost

So yeah, If I can't get this bitch fixed cheap i'll just go w/ B..
