Just a warning to all you planning on going to Fudds on Saturday. MiraMesa will be closed between Westonhill and Camino Ruiz on Saturday. That means that everybody headed west on MiraMesa towards Fudd's will find a nice traffic jam and lengthy detours. Alternate route would be to head west on Miramar and then go North on Camino Ruiz right to Fudd's.

I won't be able to attend. Like most FD's....mine's on stands....new clutch time.

I want none of your series 5-ness.

87 Sport model, blown coolant seal, straight body, dark gray. 5 lug and 4 pot calipers. Blown shocks, crappy stock rims and bald tires. Interior is decent (maroon).

$300

(Towed it home behind my buddy's F-150.)

Right now I'm looking for some rims and tires, then a set of shocks, and then I decide whether to swap the engine from my gold car to the sport, or swap the control arms and brakes to the gold one. I figure between the 2 crappy RX7's I can make a slightly better one.

I wanted to go to the meet, but had to cover the shop. Any mention of doing a cruise any time soon?

If anyone's watching, I'm looking for some 16x8 +30 5x114.3 rims for the FC, hopefully on the cheap so I can spend more money on tires and shocks. (Or if they've got some decent tires, that's cool too.) Not to particular on the look, no chrome. (Oh the horror on craigslist.)

Speaking of: I saw your taillights and spoilers on craigslist. Good luck with those!

Nah it was a guy here in Mira Mesa. I've got pics on my other computer, I'll post them when I get a chance.

Well, as soon as I can secure some rims, tires, and a new set of shocks. The rest would just swap over from the gold car. Also there's a lot of uncertainty about the gray car. Supposedly it ran fine before the PO blew the engine, but I wonder about the car's electricals, the power steering, and if there's anything wrong the fuel system.

I can swap over just about anything, but also there's a bit of a time limit since it's also my daily driver. I could get to work without the car, but it's not ideal. Hmm, still thinkin' about it.

Sweet. I probably will be needing some help. There's plenty of stuff to gather and prep work to be done, so it's not gonna happen too fast. But I'll let ya know.
