"San Diego" July 5th Monthly Meet @ Fudds!!!
JFD_8126 & rx720bt,
Quite a harsh response, don't you think?
I think FDSeoul submitted a good comment, but it seems like it is falling on deaf ears. We do get quite a diverse group of RX owners (to include all generations and models) that attend the monthly meets. With the different owners experiences vary wildly, from guys who do all their own work to guys who don't do any. The experience really doesn't matter, as we all share a passion for the rotary engine.
I certainly don't consider myself an e-thug and I do sign my posts with my name so there is no question on my identity. If I have a comment, I am certainly willing to voice it and I "try" not to come off as condescending or confrontational.
I certainly hope to be able to attend the next meet, as I hope I have my car running well by then. Last month's meet was the first I missed when I was actually in San Diego. The rest of the meets were missed because I was out of town...
Again, glad you came to the meet and I hope you and the rest of the Autotech folks continue to attend the meets. The more the merrier.

hahahaha.. JFD_8126 save your breath man... these folks are hopeless case. So sad to see that there a few low life losers that are associating themselves with the RX-7 Club of SD. These folks have no real life.. just look at on the total amount of post they have... JFD_8126 you don't need to come down to their level... as you can see, these folks are just talk and no walk....
Soo what about post counts, its just a number, and as going to down to there level, look who started this whole fiasco.
JFD ask for OPINIONS about autotech. He got them, Maybe not what you wanted to hear, but you ask. Dont get butt fucked and **** because ppl dont like a certain shop, ppl are always gonne voice what they feel. Its not there fault that they had bad experience with autotech. but going to the meet was a great thing like they stated, help promote the shop, and show your potential customers what you got.
But...
Dont be a lil bitch about **** like opinions and cry bout it., every one is entitled to them.
not every one is gonna love a shop,
as for me, i dont just say **** online, im a upfront person. Name is Jaime btw.
Idc bout fighting or talking ****, but if your gonna start talking **** over something
that you asked to hear, then ima voice my opinion.
rx720bt, dont talk ****, when Jfd is the one who asked for opinions and got mad because the truth was spoken. stfu, and take it with stride.
E-thugs
!
so whens the next meet?
I was at the meet and I've been in the RX community here in SD for just around 3 years. I still consider myself a part of the community even though I recently replaced my FD with an EVO. During these 3 years I've seen a fair amount of people and shops come and go. I applaude the Autotech guys for coming out to the meet and as FDSeoul noted, to come out on a Saturday was very good.
I was standing beside Arches8 looking at your cars and I'll be the first to admit that I didn't crawl all over the cars and see every flaw. The fact that you guys are doing that kind of work (20B swaps and 13BREW into FE) is a pretty good thing. I'm not going to state that the work was 100% pristine but I tip my hat to anybody that even does this type of work. Keep it up.
Regarding the Autotech reputation, I said it at the meet to one guy (not from Autotech) that you can't make all the people happy all the time. It's a rule that you're remembered for the handful of things you do wrong as opposed to the hundreds or thousands you do right. It's just business. Now this ratio of right to wrong may be different in this case, but the point still stands in that you're always remembered for the mistakes you make.... so don't make them.
That being said, I try to take opinions on shops with a grain of salt and stay open minded and up until I read this post I WAS fairly neutral in my opinion of Autotech. Based on the posts I have read and namely the responses from some of the Autotech crew, I'll say that I'm less than impressed. For somebody to be representing a business and to be stating the things that are being said is just
. It is up to you to withold the reputation of your shop and name calling and making threats is NOT a good way to do that. Remember that EVERY time that you speak, write, etc... you are representing your shop and as such your are expeceted to be the adult in the situation. This is one mistake that will just get added to the list of negative things that people remember.
Again, keep wrenching away on rotaries (god knows we could all use more rotary mechanics here in S.D.) and I hope you guys do come to more meets but please do yourself and your business a favor and dont resort to e-thugery. It's just not a good way to promote your business and win new customers.
Hope to see you at future meets.

Look i know we got out of hand in the beginning and i want to apologize to all. fsae_alum,zerox7,caredden. Its pretty much been us getting burned for what we say. Our reputation is pretty much getting messed up because of ex Employees and we are trying to fix what things has become. What you guys have pointed out is what we should reflect on. See you guys at future meets, seven stock and other meetings with rotary enthusiast. Hopefully we can get the respect back from people. Lets handle this with maturity instead of running our mouths out.
