nothing, thats what happpened...None of them had nothing to say, neither did the guy looking for work through them...They had there hoods popped on the cars...Nothing to impressive, But that is all im going to say to that effect...
Teddyrx2 got there around 1PM and auto tech got there at 11:30AM. We stayed there until 1:20PM,but of course people get hungry so we left becuase it wasnt very big. teddy never saw our **** in our car because he was busy with his dog and talking to peeps. If people werent impressed, then why were people crowding over our cars?
So enuff of that because pretty much its the internet, you can say whatever you guys want. We didnt need to say anything. We proved what we got and what we got was better than your second gen combined with your dog. We had a lot of fun meeting new people and getting there opinions about us. If they are still Negative....like you said opinions are opinions.

JFD_8126,
Nice attitude you have there...
First off, glad some more RXs came to the meet. Always good to see new cars. Unfortunately, I was not there since I was working on my car with a friend.
My experience, though it is limited, everyone does tend to take an interest when new cars show up (cars that have not been there before). I don't find it unusual that folks were around the new cars...It happens at every meet.
So you are blasting Teddy because he has a 2nd Gen and it is not as good as the AutoTech rides? Were you joking? Or are you really being serious? I certainly hope you are not belittling someone because he doesn't have a particular generation ride, or has had work done at a particular shop...
If you were belittling someone because of a particular generation, or shop affiliation, prepare for some blasting from people who actually perform their own maintenance on their own cars vice taking it to a shop...
Again, glad the Autotech guys showed up and I hope they continue to come to the meets. Just drop the attitude...
If I have misunderstood you in anyway, please accept my apologies now. If not, then we can discuss at future meets.

If they are still Negative....like you said opinions are opinions. They were gathered around the cars for Three reasons
1. All the other regulars that show up we have already seen what is in and out of the car
2. The people that had something to say about autotech wanted to point out the imperfections on the 13b rx8 and the 20b FD and what ever else
3. It's a car meet and for the few that are new to the game seeing new 7's with something different is not very often because getting a group of 7 lovers is hard on the weekends...
The second gen is not my car, it's my brother's first off!!! Doy knows the car I used to drive that is now converted to full drag...
And aside from that im glad you showed up at 11:30 good for you buddy, i can show up whenever the hell I want, im not on anybody's clock...
And for closing thoughts my main focus yesterday wasn't only to meet you, i got other things to worry about then deal with kid-ish bull **** attitudes with something to prove...Next time you decide to call somebody out on opinion make the effort to finish what you started, like i said i don't bite and opinions are opinions but you my friend need to learn how to take them and not get butt hurt...

ANYWAYS!!!! it was a good meet, good turn out, and many many many 7's there hope to see JT and Charlie at the next meet and whoever else couldn't make it...
As in any business, there will always be unsatisfied customer. There are folks out there that even swears that the rotary engine made by mazda is crap. Same as ford, there are folks out there that dont like ford. The point is, autotech's been around for some years its a given that there will be unsatisfied customers. Even for teddyrx2, you don't operate an official shop and you probably have not service as many folks as autotech, but I'm sure there are also folks out there, or in this forum, that are unhappy with your dealings. And it only takes one rotten apple to spoil the basket of good apples.
The thing about teddyrx2 is that from all his postings, he seems to focus his energy in bad mouthing autotech. I understand that poeple have opinions, but there is also a boundary between opinions and talking **** and the latter is what his leaning to. Opinion counts more if they are constructive and especially if you know what you are talking. A quick example is, your opinion would weight more on 20B/RX8-13brew swaps if you have also done something similar to that effect and you can show it. -- you get the point. Otherwise, it will be just talking ****, cause you have no idea or had experienced what it takes to get to that point.
Not sure if the intent is to boost himself and get more folks for his services. Boosting yourself can be achieved without bad mouthing. As in any business practice, you never know down the line if your paths will cross and you may need their help or your help which might affect that deal.
The san diego rotary community is small, and we should be focusing on how to enjoy our cars and talking to other rotary car owners. And to some far extent, if we can contribute on how we can improve the rotary engine in general. That shows maturity.
